Very poorly put together app

I downloaded this app as of last night and have had numerous issues with it. It seems very poorly put together and has a number of glitches and bugs. After getting a couple matches on day 1 of using the app I’ve been receiving notifications that I have been getting likes and messages and the app doesn’t update with these notifications to show me anything. I deleted the app and tried to redownload it and now it keeps saying error delete and redownload. I wasted my energy downloading the app and creating a profile because now that I have matches and messages it doesn’t seem to work.

That, on top of the pricing for some of the services - absolutely ridiculous ! If the app worked well and didn’t have all these issues I might be inclined to pay for some of the services but at this rate no chance.

Most unprofessional dating app

I have recently experienced an awful experience with this site. My friend told me to go on this site. Despite of very less audience, I thought I should try it. Most people don’t bother reply to anything and that’s make me feel these pics are artificially created. My mum also sometimes shows interest in looking at profiles. While my phone was with her, she accidentally uploaded her own picture. And straightaway we wrote to the support team as to what happened. My profile got banned. And despite of reaching out to support team several times to explain. They just didn’t acknowledge or understood the error and banned me. They have all my information and photos on their system. They are not showing any understanding of the issue, with a can’t be bothered attitude. They have no contact number where one can reach out to them and talk. I have not come across any site like this one. I feel so disgusting with the way dil mil has treated my requests. We are all human, errors can happen but there are ways to deal with it. Not every situation is the same. Not every person is fake .

Glitches-you don't see all likes in paid version plus just trying upselling

As a paid member I'm meant to see all likes received, but you don't. Sometime filters do t work properly when searching in your area/city. Seems they just busy upselling. Similar apps out there that don't charge as much

Beware – Deceptive Payment Practices and Poor User Experience

I recently tried out Dil-Mil app, and my experience was frustrating from start to finish. There are several major issues that potential users should be aware of before signing up.

Deceptive Payment Scheme

The app offers a monthly payment option, but what they don’t make clear is that when you sign up, they charge you for a full six-month period upfront. If you want to cancel after one month, tough luck — they refuse to refund you. They hide behind their terms and conditions, clearly banking on the fact that most users won’t read through them in detail. It feels like a deliberate attempt to deceive users into paying more than they intended.

No Refunds

To make matters worse, their no-refund policy locks you into the full payment, even if the service isn’t what you expected or wanted. This is incredibly frustrating, and it seems designed to ensure they can profit off users who are dissatisfied with the service.

Lack of Matches

The app is also completely unhelpful in finding real matches. Despite being targeted at the South Asian community, the user base seems small, and the matching algorithm doesn’t seem to function properly. I received very few relevant matches, and many profiles appeared inactive or fake. For a platform that charges a premium, the quality just isn’t there.

Conclusion

Overall, I would not recommend this app to anyone. It feels like a scam designed to take your money with no intention of delivering a quality service. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for dating options.

Worst experience on this app

Am annoyed as hell with this app. Alot should be fixed on this. I had one profile like which I don't care but it took weeks to find and still couldn't, which didn't make sense. Second the app gives free users very little amount of likes (approx 5-10) on the app and after that the refresh period is too long. Shouldn't be longer than a day. meaning you can only really use it if you pay for it. Only good thing I liked was the chat function but that didn't help. I understand these apps need to make money but they need to offer at least some more flexibility for free users before paying a subscription. If I were to use this app again I would like to see some improvements made.

Unethical and just after money!

Don’t sign up for this site if you are serious about finding a partner! They DO NOT SHOW the distance from you on the match screen, even you scroll down most profile says the country. Only VERY FEW profiles actually shows the distance. In this age of GPS-enabled applications this is totally ridiculous. They want you to buy super-swipe, requests etc., and then they send you matches from another country. No other dating site does this. This is called lack of transparency to just get money without caring for the people who are really looking to meet their life partner. This is really unethical and they should not be allowed in App Store by Apple. Then there are glitches where super swipes you purchased disappear. I am convinced they are running a dishonest business and ONLY interested in raking up money by exploiting human emotions. If you don’t believe me look up their other reviews on the internet and you will find similar feedback. I am going to cancel it within their 3-day trial period. THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING IS YOU CAN’T EVEN SET A FILTER AS TO WITHIN HOW MANY MILES YOU NEED YOUR MATCH TO BE! This is super waste of time and money!

App crashes

Hi Developer,

The app crashes directly after loading for some reason. I restarted my phone. I deleted the app and downloaded again. But the problem still persists, I can’t use the app because of the crashing.

Are you able to fix it? If not should I cancel my subscription?

The app is full of bugs

This app is rubbish considering the high fees they charge. It’s full of inactive profiles or ppl that don’t respond. I mean come on, if you are looking for someone respond at least, not ghost, its rude. Also you swipe to like profiles, and as soon as you shut the app and re launch the app some of your likes disappear. I’m not that ugly that ppl will immediately disappear. I feel there is too much internal software manipulation with this app and many dating apps to make you spend more time and money on the. Also why can you not filter out by more countries? as soon as you put worldwide it opens the floodgates to profiles of certain countries with huge populations. So your profile gets hidden under all the other profiles in those country, more that 90% of which don’t want to connect with you. Sort it out dilmil!

It happened for me!

Obvious automatic 5 stars because I happened to meet the love of my life on this thing. As with many things in life, you will get what you put into it. After some encouragement from my friends, I worked on my bio, added some pictures, and voila! I’m now getting married 364 days after matching.

There is, however, room for improvement. My fiance will tell you that they need to require people to put more into their bios, have geographic locations, and work on some of the glitches. She also claims something is off with the messaging notifications because she didn’t see my initial response for THREE days but hey at least she did respond.

If you’ve been languishing in the dating game for a while, take a breather and jump right in. Who knows who’s out there?
