Amazing! 😃
So I was hoping for a way to help my missions newsletter folks more involved and up to date in my missions prayer needs, and I was also thinking about my own personal prayer journal… But I couldn’t see myself using a paper journal because I tend to have to rewrite and re-organize. This app, fulfills BOTH of what I was hoping for! 😀
I’ve had this app for about a week and I already love it. I am able to set up a prayer feed for those who follow my missions, and I’m SO happy that people will be able to comment on the prayers and share insights - and even be able to rejoice when they see the prayer marked as ‘answered’! I also like that I am able to ‘share’ prayers with specific individuals instead of a group.
I’m really hoping many from my church end up using this app… it would be SUCH an awesome way to develop a community of intercessors, and most of all, family and unity.

I love this app. So easy to use and is very versatile. It has helped me to maintain a regular prayer time and it gives me notifications of when to pray.

It was good when I could pray for free. Then I learned about the cost!!
Needs a “Send to God” button
Great idea, helps tracks answers, grow faith, pray bigger. Please include a ‘submit’ button so God can receive our prayers digitally too.
UNNECESSARY AD FOR APP!!!
Do not update to latest version! Please remove ad to download Echo app every single time we tap on a prayer request. When forced to click on it, then it’ll ask the same thing again! Please allow us to go back to the previous version that automatically took us to the prayer item in the app. Very redundant!

Logging in
We have just started using this app for our prayer line. We like the way the prayers flow and that each individual can arrange them to suit themselves. However, the having to log in again every few days is unhelpful. We have several elderly, non-techs prayer warriors that cannot seem to keep track of their passwords, and we ar having to help them whenever the app opens to the login page. How can you help us fix this?
Update:
Just received a response from the developer who explained that anytime they update the app we may have to re-log in. Seems totally reasonable. My prayer warriors love this app and it’s a great improvement of the way things used to be. 5 stars.

Usually, you won't be asked to log in every time you open the app. But we did just push an update to the app last week, and upon receiving the update, you might have been logged out and asked to log back in. Once you do it once, though, it shouldn't continue! If you do continue having trouble with repeated login, let us know at support@echoprayer.com and we'll be happy to help find a solution for you.

Love it. You can add hashtags to your prayer to categorize them and join churches, organizations, and create groups. Follow and add many prayers. Very social. You have to pay to add photos, create groups, create more than one prayer feed, and access prayer requests. there is no character limit for the titles of prayers you write yourself. Helps you write your own prayers. the layout needs a bit more work. Not that aesthetically pleasing. Cant customize the colors/wallpaper. Swiping back takes you to home screen instead of the last page. Also, wish as soon as you type, a hashtag symbol, that all of the hashtags that you’ve ever used previously on this app will show up like a drop menu to avoid making similarly worded, hashtags or labels for the same topic.

Great tool
I’ve recently felt convicted that there are important people and circumstances in my life for whom and for which I am called to cover in prayer. My problem is I don’t remember very often to to stop and pray. I say I’ve been praying for God to move in these areas, but do I really? I think about them. I wish they would be healed or redeemed, but do I really often take time to pray? Enter this app. It was so helpful to me to even add the prayer. It forced me to be still and take time listening to God about what the need really is and to articulate it. Then the reminders. I was able to be thoughtful about times that are often transitional times between scheduled commitments. Those times would usually be filled with planning for the next thing, but with the reminder popping up on my phone, I remember to just be still and commune with God in prayer. And not just that, but to be in prayer over these specific things I know He wants me to bring to Him all day every day. I’m so thankful and pray this will help me to be less impulsive and self-centered in my prayers and really leave things at the feet of Christ and wait for the Holy Spirit to move.

For future versions, I'd love to schedule certain hashtags by days. While the major hashtags would be daily prayer items (eg. Family, church), others may be once or twice weekly. For example, Mondays for #mycity, Tuesdays for #missionsgroupX, Wednesdays for #colleagues.

Love this app!
This has helped me so much with my mom brain and busy schedule. I never want to say, “I’ll pray for you” and then I don’t. So I log in the prayer request instantly and get reminders.
Suggestion: can there be a time stamp on the prayer requests? I know there is an option to list when they were answered, but it would be amazing if we could see the exact dates.
