Great App - Undelete Function Requested
I absolutely love the Echo App. I have the paid version.
I rely upon Echo as my primary prayer list. I use it as a history to monitor prayer activity (answered prayers, clarity pending, etc)
A prayer that meant a lot to me was somehow deleted. I’m not sure how but I contacted Echo and there is no way to retrieve it.
Additionally, I was told by customer service Echo deletes prayers permanently on their server as soon as they are deleted in your phone for security reasons and privacy. Echo, If this is not the case, please let me know. The response sounded unbelievable to me.
That said, I advise that Echo to incorporate an undelete feature like you see in Apple Photos and Notes.
Deleted messages go to a deleted category on your device but they are available to undelete for 30 days. You can permanently delete sooner but you are required to go to the delete bucket to permanently delete it.
Please add the above feature. I love the app but was disappointed to lose a very important prayer I trusted the Echo app to keep alive.

Absolutely invaluable!
The Echo prayer app is perhaps the most important app on my phone. Over 38 years of walking with Jesus, but is still often a struggle. This app simply allows me to lay out a daily prayer schedule, and most importantly the Holy Spirit uses the notification I receive when I’ve missed a day to get me back to where I should be-at the foot of the holy throne. Thank you!

Watch app would make it perfect
Great way to bring prayer into daily life. I’d love to disconnect from my screen when praying: a watch app would make Echo near perfect.
E-mail sharing capability
The one thing that would make Echo my perfect choice for our group prayer team would be the capability to send a group prayer for several persons out via e-mail; even to people who do not have the app. The app is perfect for our tech savvy people, but there are still many who need to receive the group prayer list via e-mail. I’m still looking for that perfect app.

Would be more useful if copy and paste worked better
I often get prayer requests by email that I want to copy and paste into ECHO. Or I’m writing a series of requests that have similar # tags or something that I want to paste in each time. If I open the add prayer page and enter anything before I paste, the page crashes and sends me back to the previous page. I always have to paste in what I need to first before adding anything else. I’m getting better at remembering to always do it in that order but I still forget resulting in losing all my work on that new prayer when it crashes. Sure would be nicer to have it allow pasting in whatever order.

Great tool for praying
I’ve really enjoyed using Echo and I’m grateful for how it makes it easier to write a crafted prayer for those that God is putting on my heart as well as myself. I also like adding embellishments, such as flowers and leaves etc. It’s easy to just pull out your phone when you’re waiting or traveling and enter the presence of God and bring forth His kingdom here on earth through prayer.

Very Pleased, but iPad version please
Our Life Group adopted this app as our way to share and record prayers amongst our members. It works beautifully. I also love that I can follow the feed of one of the missions I support. My one desire is a second to those who have asked for an iPad (landscape orientation) friendly version. I, too, like to use my key board for writing the prayers and noting people’s requests, but this app doesn’t lend itself to that easily.
Love that the free version allows quite a few of the features, but the Echo Plus fee is definitely worth it.

Needs some tweaks
One plus is having each prayer request separated by title. Our group used to use text messages and you’d lose the initial request.
I like how it shows answered when a prayer is answered.
A few tweaks that would make this app a 5 star.
Allow user to change font size and bold type. It is way too small for older eyes. Also some of the prayers come through with small font on a gray background making it harder to read. Perhaps some colored instead of a grey background.
Show date and times of comments (prayers) being listed and then show a check mark if it’s already been read.
Maneuvering through app is time consuming. When I go to the bell notification and there are several listed, I tap on the bell and it shows all the comments. I don’t know which ones have been seen. But when I do tap on the newest comment, I have to hit the back screen 4 times just to get back to notifications to see what else is new.

Alright, still worthy of praise
The push for money from the app is a little much. It’s an app based on prayer. Prayer is being with God. Prayer is a great thing and a fearful thing and a beautiful thing and a privilege for the child of God. To have an app the encourages prayer but also lets you not use half the features without praying is bit contradictory.
However, this app is great in terms of layout, design, community features, ease of access, and navigation within app to find what to pray for and to make prayer for. It is a certainly something God can and is using for His glory.🙂

You know what would make this app even better?
If in the ‘adding a prayer’ portion, under the description, there’s a recording section. So instead of typing the description we add audio and record ourselves praying or what we want. If we don’t have time to type it all we record it. I also think it’s nicer going back and hearing our voice in the moment of needing God. Hearing our voices when we’re scared, happy, upset. It’s raw and reflecting back to it makes it more personal than a typed description. Both would be excellent.
