Do you like science? Do you like to know about ground breaking discoveries, new research and technologies? If so, this app is for you! I have had this app for a while now and I use it everyday. It is constantly updated to feed you with the current science news from gravitational waves to diabetes research. You don’t require a masters degree in theoretical physics to understand the content that’s delivered as it is aimed at the average person with an interest in science which makes in much better and accessible than most science related apps which are filled with mind boggling numbers. Great content. Always fresh, even on the weekends. I like the international perspectives and this app is one of my main sources for all science. Wish the navigation was a bit easier and something’s there are links to paid constant but nothing I would make a big deal of.pophound

One of the Better Science News Apps
I use this service to keep updated on the latest science news. Things I like about the articles:
1. A broad variety of topics
2. Concise summaries of news items but also reasonable thorough
3. Frequent links to other information
Things I don’t like:
1. A percentage of articles are teasers seeking full subscriptions and in this sense are really ads for the periodical in question: (e.g. Discovery Magazine, New Scientist).
2. A few articles are more blatantly ads promoting a product (XYZ lens company has just come out with new product).
3. The article rating system is poorly designed and often just promotes troll postings for those who have ideologically based preconceptions (e.g. any article about climate change is, by definition, “fluff” or liberal hype).Show lessOxbowPhotoman

You can block any source from your feed by long tapping an article and clicking block source, or check out other articles about the same story by clicking the other coverage button under the article.Science

I love the Science News App so much. I’m enjoying the information they have there. I’m interested in Astrophysics and Astronomy and they always have articles about both for me to read. I’m also following the James Webb Space Telescope and they are doing a wonderful job of keeping us up to date with news and information and pictures!! Keep up the good work!!
