Please allow option for all-day events for scheduled expenses
Great app, love using it! Would be a perfect 5 stars if you could change scheduled payments to be all day events on the calendar so then it's scheduled for the entire day instead of only at a specific time of day. Please consider!
DO NOT BUY!
This app is so complicated that even a banker can’t figure it out. I added all this info and it couldn’t even tell me, after that, how much I had budgeted in a category. What good is that? When I requested a refund of $19.99 I paid, it was DENIED. I appealed - still DENIED! This app is a COMPLETE RIP OFF! I have NEVER had a refund request denied before. If an app is not what’s expected - especially at that price (per month!) - it should be refunded without question. Do not buy anything from Ivan Pavlov Pty!

First of all, refunds are handled by Apple. If you request was denied, they made that call for their own reasons and I had nothing to do with that. Secondly, the app has no price “per month”. It has an annual subscription. I have many senior users who are successfully using the app and find it working well. I doubt they were all bankers.
Such a great app
Been using this app since 2018. It’s an awesome app, perfect for what it needs to do, beautifully designed and just great to use. It is my only tool for keeping track of money; I have like 10 accounts in it or something, and wouldn’t know what to do if I didn’t have this! It just blows all the alternatives out of the water in my opinion, I like having to put in transactions, it forces you to engage with your spending and results in much more accurate records than those other ones where it tries to connect to your bank or whatever. You can set it up with your accounts and whatnot in whatever way works for your brain. Just great 10/10 app and easily worth the yearly subscription. Only “complaint” is I feel like the reports could be more customizable.

Sharing Option V Poor
Edit: Updated to 4* after response below. However developer does need to update his documentation as instructions say both need to have a premium subscription
I actually like this app, have paid for the subscription and was set to make it my finance app of choice, its just if you want to share it with your partner it really falls down. I could totally live with the limitation on who edits the data etc, but the fact that you both have to pay for a premium version for even this pared down sharing option seems crazy. If there was proper family sharing of the paid version this would be the app for me. For now, the hunt for a decent iOS finance/budgeting app continues.

The premium subscription is eligible for family sharing.
Oh. My. Goodness
I can’t tell you how many bank balancing apps I’ve tried, subscriptions I’ve sampled, painstaking nights I’ve had reconnecting accounts, fixing data, etc. This app is EVERYTHING. If you are looking for something automatic to track your funds, this app isn’t for you. But if you are truly dedicated to updating your transactions and keeping track of where everything’s going, this app will be a godsend for you. This app does it all. It makes me feel like I am able to manipulate my own bank accounts and keep track of how much I’m spending on what and where everything truly flows and it’s BEAUTIFUL. I love that I can make unlimited accounts and add my own values to things, especially with things like depreciating assets that don’t necessarily have an account, but I like to keep an eye on its value which this app does it all. The seamless integration to your calendar, the notifications, the scheduling feature, I can’t emphasize it enough. There might be hesitation to pay $20 a year for this, but it far beats a painstaking spreadsheet that isn’t accessible on your phone. Oh, and not only is this app accessible on your phone, you can upload receipts, add notes, etc and sync it to icloud to view on your mac, iPad, etc. Wow wow wow.

Every day, every penny accounted for
Every day, bank accounts, money on deposit with energy companies, bank notes in foreign currencies are mirrored in Debit & Credit. I may not be rich but every penny is accounted for; nothing goes awry for long. I have an insight into future net worth: 2, 3, 10 years ahead. Budgeting is easy and I know when I can and can't spend. I've forgotten what life was like before Debit & Credit came along.

First time knowing it exists, love it but would request some options
I have been looking for a offline budget manager and was so pleased when I tried this out. I am now subscribed! Love the ease of use, how easy it is to change descriptions, etc.
The only request I would have is to have an option to display transactions by payee and not description. Sometimes I like to be able to see the feed by seeing who I paid or bought from. Also on the “scheduled” side, when scheduling, it would be easier and more streamlined to allow the repeat options on the same screen below rather than tapping to go to another screen. Another thing I would appreciate is an option to display the credit limit against the amount owed on the main accounts screen.

Excellent - functional clean and effective
I’ve been using D&C for more than six years. In that time it has provided everything I need of a finance tracker. It does what it does exceptionally well, and steers clear of the things that bogs down many apps, such as bank integration.
The premium edition (iOS and MacOS integration) is smart and straightforward.
And Ivan’s support is the best.

Very impressed! Highly recommended
I have tried several similar apps over the years and I have finally found the one that is perfect for my needs. It is simple, logical and does the job beautifully. I should also add that developer response is spot on with prompt, helpful advice and answers to questions raised. I bought another app by the same developer many years ago, and this support is always reliable and consistent. Highly recommended. 👏👏

Great, but
I love the simplicity of this app, I love the layout and ease of use, and I love its features. I haven’t been overdrawn once since I started keeping track of my finances with this app. However, there is one annoying bug that keeps popping up where the app will duplicate my recent transactions and it throws everything off. I had to delete 180+ items yesterday that the app made copies of, which is time-consuming and potentially could still mess up my budget if I don’t catch them all. Edit: This bug just happened again and I had to manually delete 270+ duplicates 🙃 Edit 2: Still dealing with this bug on a regular basis, love the app otherwise but this is very annoying! Edit 3: Still dealing with this bug on an annoyingly regular basis, just had to delete over 600 duplicate entries and it even did a new thing where it added back in entries I had deleted previously. I feel like this is a major programming flaw that negatively impacts both the accuracy and efficacy of this app and I am going to start looking at alternative ledgers.
