2.2.2
November 8, 2024
This update for AnchorTest® ensures compatibility with the iPadOS 18.1, fixes an issue with the Sync engine, and improves upon the following: * Staggered (multi-unit) anchors can now be configured with up to 10 units, an increase from the previous limit of 7. (new in v2.2) * Enhanced Artificial Intelligence-assisted investigation of ultimate pull-out capacity, based on EN ISO 22477-5:2018. This feature is now available for free as a preview on the login screen, without requiring a license. * The underlying AI code, written in Swift, is open-source and can be accessed as a library called swiftmicrograd on GitHub: https://github.com/boraoku/swiftmicrograd * The numerical input pad now retains the previous measurement value at the same load level. This improvement makes it easier to modify the previous value instead of entering a new measurement from scratch. * It is now possible to enter or modify the grout strength after initiating the test. However, we recommend checking the strength test report before starting the test to ensure that the grout has sufficiently cured.

Version 2.1.1 addresses some minor typos and layout misalignments found in the previous version, AnchorTest v2.1, which previously introduced several new features: * Enhanced Artificial Intelligence-assisted investigation of ultimate pull-out capacity, based on EN ISO 22477-5:2018. You can now access this feature for free as a preview on the login screen, without the need for a license. * The underlying AI code, written in Swift, is available as an open-source library called swiftmicrograd on GitHub: https://github.com/boraoku/swiftmicrograd * The numerical input pad now retains the previous measurement value at the same load level. Version 2.1 is the first major update to AnchorTest v2. It includes numerous usability, performance, stability, and iOS 16 compatibility improvements, most notably: * Improved Artificial Intelligence-assisted investigation of ultimate pull-out capacity, according to EN ISO 22477-5:2018. This feature is also available as a free preview at the login screen, not requiring license. * The underlying AI code (written in Swift) is available as an open source library called swiftmicrograd on GitHub: https://github.com/boraoku/swiftmicrograd * Usability improvement: Numerical input pad now carries on previous measurement value on the same load level, making it easier to modify the previous value instead of entering a new measurement from scratch. * Usability improvement: Grout strength can now be entered or modified after the testing is initiated, although we still recommend checking the strength report before starting the test to ensure that the grout has cured sufficiently. * Licensee customization: Custom Excel report headers have been added for our latest licensee from Canada, Terraprobe/Englobe. We hope these updates will improve your experience with the app. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or feedback.

The first major update of AnchorTest® bringing the latest international ground anchor testing code, EN ISO 22477-5: Test Method 1 with new features such as use of AI for the estimation of anchor pull out resistance using creep rate measurements. AnchorTest also has a redesigned welcome page with photos from major anchor projects worldwide including ones where AnchorTest has been implemented. Version 2.0.2 includes a quick bug fix for the cloud backend system, where anchor names with + sign were resulting in inaccessible assets (photos, XLS reports) for the AnchorTest Cloud website, although the same assets were accessible through AnchorTest app, thus no actual loss of data.

Further updates on the user interfaces as well as under the hood optimizations and fixes for available codes of practice (current and legacy codes). Amongst other things these compromise a new set of observation minutes and new interface using the full width of your iPad up to the largest 12.9" iPad Pro screen which displays all the data in one go. We are working hard on AnchorTest version 2.0, which will incorporate the new international standards organisation testing code for grouted anchors (EN ISO 22477: 2018) so please continue to watch this space!
