Chills down my spine

As someone who adores point and click games, this is the best one I’ve played by far. Not only is the storyline to die for but the art is visually stunning. It blows me away, just how well made this is. The game and its creators deserve SO much recognition for this masterpiece.

I will say, it is TRICKY. The puzzles are so amazingly thought out and constructed to work so well, it honestly runs chills down my spine. I was sad when I finished this game. (It took me a few google searches to figure out.) So in summary, it’s worth every penny it costs.

an underrated classic

i vaguely remember playing this game when I was 13 years old, suddenly had a vision and figured out where to find it, playing it again was such a blast from the past, and it's still such a good game!!! deserves way more recognition than it has

There’s a glitch

Hello;

There’s a glitch in the game act 2 that makes it impossible to get through the story. NOTE SPOILERS AHEAD: when you have to catch up to the Hexipal to the trash chute, the Teleporter doesn’t get you there in time. I’ve seen various other versions of the same thing but it always works for them. On iOS, this isn’t the case. Otherwise, great game! Hope this bug can be fixed soon!

This game is amazing

I played this game a long time ago but deleted it I re download it and played throw the game and it’s amazing the puzzle elements are tricky and the graphics along with the story is outstanding I would definitely recommend buying this because it’s my childhood and it’s incredible

One of the Best

Easily in the top 5 point click adventure games of all time. It crashed on me a few times but other than that the game is almost flawless.

6 years! It took me

If it’s value is based on how long it took to finish, this game is hands down WORTH paying for. I downloaded this game in Oct 2014 and only just finished it today, Aug 2020. It’s rich, deep, puzzling, fascinating, clever, and all the while with an interesting fantasy narrative. It’s only downfall - it’s bloody hard! After several attempts to getting into it (over several years) this year I finally persisted and took it seriously - it’s certainly challenging for even the keenest click and find enthusiasts but the gorgeous illustrations and celebrity voiceover certain give this its polished finesse. I’d say keep em coming but I doubt the design studio even still exists!?

Great game

Best mobile game I have ever played

The perfect family game

Great game to play as a family, because of all the puzzles. This game was so much fun!

Beautiful

This game is just amazing. The way you play this game is just amazingly by and well thought. You can control what your character says and where they go. And in the end, it was worth it to buy. People may say they don’t like how they have to play it so why are they here anyway. The story is just beautiful. And at the end of the game ( I haven’t finished yet I just watched the tutorials) the two characters paths finally intertwined and it is just an amazing storyline overall. I have never played a game that I loved so much, but now Broken Age is my all time favorite app. I love this game and it has a lot of unique characters and a awesome way of telling the story. This game is amazing so I suggest you get it.

Enjoyable Enough

Been a forever fan of the Monkey Island games, in comparison, this one doesn’t disappoint in terms of the graphics, plot, game controls design, length & difficulty of the puzzles. I love that this game teaches morals and virtues instead of emphasising the opposite - Really suitable for children and those who wants some clean fun without excessive violence & “dark” themes that most popular adventure games are these days.

A few Cons: 1) A few puzzles are way too tricky even in hindsight (totally subjective but to a point they completely killed the momentum and enjoyment at certain points) 2) LACK of humour -Or maybe being an adult the children humour just doesn’t strike a cord? I hardly laughed playing the game. 3) Dialogues- Way too many, tasteless & tedious to go through at times. 4) Ending- Really, that’s it?! Would be nice to see the after-story and not just some illustrations at credits. Feels like the designers just ran out of time.. In contrast with the amount of storytelling throughout the game. 5) Areas too time-consuming to walk through at times- would like more shortcuts e.g. map with hyperlinks.
