It is Apple who asks for this information when setting up your account, not me, the developer of the app. You should ask Apple. Why make a review of a free app to complain about this? What's that going to acomplish?

Widgets cannot be updated with the frecuency needed to be useful for real time traffic. That's why it is not available.

The app tries to solve the problem of moving around in an area you know well, where you don't need navigation and where there are several alternatives. By providing a big view of the area and another with what's ahead, you can choose the best way to your destination based on the traffic status. If your use case is not this one, maybe the app is just not for you.

There is a setting for that. Tap on the button in the shape of dented wheel. In the settings of the app you can choose the time it will use to go back to your location for each map independently. You could also choose the setting "never" to disable the timer completely, you can always tap on the button to center the map when you are using a big timer or the option to never go back to your location.
