Good, but not without issues
I’ve had the game for a couple of years (but don’t play very often), and the game has been fun, but there are some things that don’t make sense. At the time of me writing this, the Free Booster button does not work (does nothing on the first tap and brings me to the booster store on the second+ tap) and the video has not given me a key. I know that the video says that it MAY give me a key, but I have watched about 5 videos so far, and still no key. It annoys me that I gain no xp or gold for winning a battle without a key. The battles should give you some xp and gold with the chest maybe giving at least 3x as much (though this would probably allow players to go through the game quickly, have a good time, and make the Boss Workshop upgrade more feasible to get). For some reason I am automatically given most of the tiles so that I am always 2-3 tiles away from the crown, despite not participating in the Color War beforehand. Amazing Game!
I absolutely love this game and I find myself coming back to the game whenever I can. But I agree with the other people with the fact that pink and purple are overpowered. I picked red and we’re stuck at rock bottom. But my loyalty to the dark side of things keep me in my place. And I think that the war should only be 1 or 2 people on one team to make it more fair. And lastly I think that the scoring is unfair. I attack the enemy’s like a million times and we never move towards the crown. And whenever we start picking up momentum pink and purple come in and take it all away. And please make the odds of getting keys from the videos easier for getting them. I love this game, but there are a few MINOR things I want done
I love this game, using an army to fight other teams in a paintball war is amazing, but one thing that could be changed is to have sort of a buff on some teams, this is because even though I am on the purple team, I find my team and pink winning a lot, so I think to make it fair, the less competitors in a color, the more of a buff they gain, more health and more attack, this may seem unfair, but in the long run, this is much better. Another minor thing that isn’t a problem with the game, it’s just something I want you to do, could you please create some sort of official tactile wars STYLUS so it can be better for creating formations, it’s just not very easy with fingers. Good Game but issue with ads?
So first off I like this game. I haven’t played it a huge amount but think it’s promising and it feels like a good quality game. I’d like to see it do well and have a ton of players but there’s a bit of an issue with some of the ads currently in my opinion.
Not a fan of having no exit [X] in any corners after the ad. In fact the majority of the ads it seems the only way I can get through them is by being forced to play the ad’s mini flash game. After the mini game it opens up the App Store AND a random link in my browser to one of their sponsors.
Now I know most mobile games have similar if not the same kind of ad setup. But other games and apps also usually have the courtesy of allowing you to just close the ad after it’s done with an [X] hiding in one of the corners. Basically feels like I’m forced to let my phone open up a few spam links for almost every ad since there isn’t any way around them.Show lessGhostie57
Good game, but issues.
I love this game, but there are some things that are not right.
First: I can’t collect my free card pack. I click on it, but it is just kinda grey, and not working. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, but that didn’t work. I don’t want to have to start a new save file. Please help me fix this.
Second: the color war is unbalanced. Purple and pink always win! Maybe make it so the same amount of player in one single color war? Something has to change.
3rd, this is kinda not really a problem, but, resources come a little to slow. Might just be me.

Now it’s been lost
I have had 3 accounts in this game ranging from level 25 - 30 and I decided to play it one more time. When I remembered it, it was still in very good shape but when I came back to it this time now all of the sudden you need keys to open chest to get your rightfully earned gold and exp. I would always run trackers on my base but now you can only buy trap packs 1 & 2, turrets, tanks, cannons, snipers, and bunkers in the defense shop. The main problem with the keys is the fact that you can only get 3 a day by completing the daily missions which means you have to do some battles without receiving anything to get the keys and if you are out of keys and you win a battle then it will ask you as you are forced to click the chest if you want to but 10 keys but it only shows prisms (premium currency) to buy so you can’t even buy keys. Sadly it seems that the developers have now given up on the game which is disappointing because this was a wonderful game up until that point.Show lessL0YAL7Y
Good game overall
I have been playing this game for a long time now. I know good strategy’s to defend with and I know how to takeover anyone’s base except defending isn’t easy anymore. Any time I go to look at appearances, defenses or colors it brings me into a screen where I see nothing except my base except darker a back button and an exit button. Anytime one of those six tabs I click on it’s the same output and I don’t now why. It’s a great game and I recommend it to anyone interested in strategy games that combine controlling army’s or defending your base against other army’s. Are a few bugs that need to be fixed but overall it’s good.Show lesstony almighty
Glitchy, but fun!
Quite glitchy at times. I’ll often times come across bugs, ranging from small to game breaking. I understand you can’t really do much to change the in-game economy of the widely known “Purple Army Superiority”, and I won’t hold you accountable for that. I also feel that placing defenses and creating territories could be done in a more engaging way than having preset layouts and templates to put your defenses in, as these unchanging options can get stale quickly.
Other than that, Tactile Wars has been a long time favorite game of mine. Because of its occasional monotony, I go through long stretches of hiatus between periods of excitement about playing it, but when I do play it, it always leaves me smiling. In short, it can be improved, but it’s fantastic nonetheless. “Tactile Wars” is undeniably cute, and intuitive to play, and very rewarding once you get into it.Show lessCadesworth
Fun but way too unbalanced.
So I loved this game three years ago, and still love it now. I’m on team green and I logged on about 5 days ago (the first time in about a year) to see green had won a war. I was like cool, that’s epic. I look at standings and Cyan is still in last. Pink and Purple are still in first. So many people are on those two teams they always win, and cyan, red, and orange never stand a chance. My friend recently got the game and I told asked him what team he joined. He said pink because the game offered him a 100 coin bonus to join them. That’s just dumb. Devs, I only ask two things of you. Balance the teams and let us change our usernames.Show lesssplatoonfan1
A Fun Game! But This Bug...
I enjoy this game a lot! I liked it a little more when you didn’t have keys limiting your ability to gain gold and experience though. Still, I’ve adapted to playing and unlocking additional keys through missions and ads daily. However, there is some bug that has been affecting my game the last two weeks or so, not allowing the daily ad under the “Collect” card pack on the home screen to play. This effectively has kept me from obtaining any keys unless I manage to accomplish daily missions, which means attacking other territories would be meaningless since I would gain neither gold nor experience points. It keeps me from actually playing the game besides maintaining my defenses, so I hope this problem can be fixed!Show lessJapanime Fanatic
