Only two colors win: pink and purple.
I LOVE this game. I love it. I joined blue three years ago, and am now pretty darned good at the game. But in those three years, the only two colors I’ve ever seen win are pink and purple. Never once has blue won. EVER. And I still don’t have the achievement you get when your color wins the color war. I’ve been tempted join other colors, only stopped by the fact that blue is my favorite color and I have a strong sense of loyalty. All the players change to pink and purple because they win. And now I’m stuck in a rut. I attack a lot, get money and stuff. But I go to sleep and in the morning, BAM! All my defenses are gone. I have spares, but I need to buy more. But guess what? I run out as fast as I get money. This is because it’s also ridiculously hard to get keys. I would love it if you could fix these problems. Maybe bribe people to choose the other colors? Amazing game, but with some minor problems.
This is a game I have been playing for a couple years now, and my experience has been very positive. But, besides that the game has a few issues. Those being the color war, a tad bit of P2W (Pay 2 Win) and balancing.
So, first off, color war. While this is a well implicated mechanic, there is one problem, that has to do with Pink and Purple. It's that they always curb stomp the other colors. While the other colors only have a few territories (Like 3-5) Pink or Purple will already have the crown.
Second on the list, The P2W. Now, Pay 2 Win in this game really comes down to early-game experiences. Since in the early stages of the game you won't have a steady coin supply, keeping your base in tip-top shape is a tad hard. And since high-level players usually attack low-level players constantly for wins, the low-level players will have to try very hard to keep their base in check, while staying on F2P (Free 2 Play) Territory.
Finally we come to balancing. The main problem with balancing is that high-levels can attack players who are low-level. This usually leads to "easy territory" in the color wars.

Could have been good, simply not
So after reaching level 18 and putting some time into this game, I have decided on what I think about this game.
I did rate this originally at 4⭐️’s, but after playing I have realized several downfalls to this app.
The gameplay is fun. You can create a little defensive base and semi-creatively attack other real players. After awhile the game does become mundan. Progression in this game is limited by one factor-greed. The ‘keys’ in this game really limit how often you can play AND level up and get gold. Though Ankama updated game so you could watch videos, that also is limited.
The game really in the long run will play the same and will turn tedious. Defense in this game is pretty linear, and will constantly be attacked and struggling for gold, unless you buy of course, in which they consistently flash on your screen.
After looking deeper Ankama is clearly focused on developing their other games, as this is just casually updated to generate revenue so it doesn’t die.
All in all, the game is fun for a bit, but I would never consider spending real money on a game that is lazily innovated, since after 3 years this game has hardly changed. 2 ⭐️’s. Will be deleting.Show lessFerranzo
Great game, some minor problems
This game is great. It has tactics, but it is not so complicated that it is hard to just pick up and play. My only problem is that there are some issues with the Wars. I chose blue because I liked it at the time. With hindsight, I see that pink and purple always win. Perhaps making a time at which people could switch teams would make some other teams stand a chance, as people would not feel as pressured to chose the winning team for their team. Thus balancing the game. This could also go horribly wrong. But other than that, I believe this is a great game. (Micro transactions do exist, but in a free to play mobile game, they are not predatory and really just offer a cheap way out)Show lessTimewaster504
This game is really fun and I have some ideas
I really love playing Tactile Wars and it’s very enjoyable. The gameplay is unique and doesn’t really feel cloned at all. I have a couple of suggestions though to make the game even more fun to play. If there was a clan or faction system that would be really fun. I’m not talking about what color you choose to fight for but something like you and friends of all colors can join an alliance and talk to each other, test out each other’s bases and bosses, and maybe even team up in real time to attack an enemy boss or base. The only problem I see with attacking an enemy base is that it’s two players against one so maybe if you do decide to team up with someone to take on a base the enemy is a much higher level than both players. I this idea gets taken into consideration as it would make the game 10 times better than it is.Show lessMatt Spinelli
Buggs and rip offs.
Starting with the bugs, daily pack doesn't give you what is shown on the screen, if you move your troops right next to the pause button pause the game and resume quickly you can no longer continue the mission forcing you to exit out, rip offs includes the boss card pack where it says “it will give you the cards to build a boss” well. They only gave a card to every single boss part and not even completing a single part. Don't buy any add ons until they actually fix it. Don't buy card packs, its a random chance if your at the lower levels and don't have anything. If your looking for something specific then just buy the gems outright besides these dumb card packs that promises nothing but money wasting, and empty hands.
Mostly everything else about the game is good, and I will update this whenever i find new bugs and cash grab mechanics so NO ONE wastes money.Show lessEmpoy II
Pink/Purple Overrule
I really enjoy this game, I’ve probably found myself downloading and deleting this app around 5 time now, but I would just keep coming back. I would delete this game due to lack of interest when I was a little younger. But now that I’m a little older (13) I find myself enjoying this game a lot more, and now I’m pretty far in the game. But... there’s a problem. I chose the color green as my faction, I chose this because I wanted to be somewhat of a underdog as I thought people would choose more popular colors like red and blue (also because I chose other colors like red and blue in previous accounts) and I was right, green was not a majority. But you know what is majority... Pink and purple. Pink and purple continuously win the color war week after week, the only medal I have won from the color war (other then coins) in the “participation award”! Nothing else! People are bandwagoning onto the pink/purple team! I not sure of a way to fix this but “this” problem is sucking the joy out of playing! Its a wonderful game!!!! With some problems...
Its great overall! Good characters, fighting is balanced and I LOVE the update!!! “Baby gatling” XD once again I would like these requests though:
1: balance the war please! I'm on blue and no matter what we're always last!!! ALWAYS! The war never changes.... I'm sure everyone can agree, the war is the same every time. Please balance it?
2: the replays could be improved... at least show me HOW they won! I get that they won by this much, but i want to know what it is they do..! That would be magnificent!! That way I can see if they won with luck, skill, or just bad defenses...
3: and the best for last, could you make it so you can have a sorta friendly battle against your friends and other players? That would be awesome! If this gets added, i might do a tournament with my friends! But until then, we just battle other colors.
Other than that, this game is insane and amazing! Thanks for making such great game!

Great but...
Ok so I played this game TWICE but both times my account was 1 overridden and 2 iPhone was stolen so any way I love the idea it is simple yet amazing as I have not seen a game like it however there are some glitches that I hope work out for instance I purchased gems and I want to buy normal Gatling but it will not let me also baby Gatling is a bit nerfed and to make it useable you should make it shoot single balls instead of bursts so then we have a variety of things and he is not useless once you get normal Gatling overall great game but needs a little fixing ALSO developers if you read this could you restore my account (Spectrebtine) yes I know there is a b in there but restore it Spectre-Elite Thanks for making this great game and I hope my purchase helps make the game better ALSO back to Gatling he is not purchase able so he is glitching so please fix it I have 79 prisms and the screen just goes blank please fix thisShow lessEpic Tacos44377
Great game but with a few problems...
This is a really great game. But there are some difficultys that alter the gameplay experience and my rating. First, the color wars are unfair. Green, red, and cyan teams rarely get more than one full hex. and purple and pink are the only ones who really get a chance at winning, usually purple, with orange (Go orange team!) coming in third. Please make the gameplay even for all and give them a chance! Also, the only common card I get besides ones for my boss are the one to the far left for the "no no" and I always lose gold and platinum card by getting "double" (getting rid of that good card for a few measly coins) please fix these then it's a 5/5!Show lessPoeDameron805
