I paid for this app some time ago and now the units of measurement that were available all along now require a subscription to be ‘unlocked’. This must be a bug right? Hopefully not unscrupulous developers.manslab
Great app until they turned it into a subscription service
This app used to be great until they recently decided to turn it into a monthly or annual subscription service. I purchased (!) the app years ago and loved using it on a daily basis. It’s a shame they don’t care about the users who spent money on this app and tell them they need to subscribe now...
Their customer service team lacks any sort of empathy and doesn’t seem to understand my concern. Going forward I’ll rather use Google or any competitor that straight up has a free app or app to purchase without this nonsense subscription requirement!Show lessGerman_lad

Occasional use of a half decent app for calculating stuff without having to Google now gets updated with subscription. Poor money grabrhudjrr

I have had this app for a long time now, was never a monthly charge, pay once, and had all the different conversions. I haven't used it in months, opened it up to do a conversion, and saw a new charge, never use to be a monthly or yearly fee. What a dishonest company!Dusty1218
Used to Be Great, Now Behind a Paywall
I got this app initially as an app of the day. Loved it for cooking and all sorts of other things, as I’m an American living abroad where they use the more logical but less familiar metric system.
Now that Convorto seems to have changed its conditions, at least as they pertain to me, I no longer see much use.

Awful cash grab
This app used to be a nice easily, if a bit annoying conversion app. Now the developer after abandoning it and not even optimising it for iPhone X for three years, decides to make it a $16 yearly subscription... TerribleLuxoish

The app is optimized for all iPhones including the latest iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhones 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max.Good but not worth the price
I have used this product for years but with the recent updates they decided to remove most of the features and have now joined the capitalist movement by Charging for conversions. There are equally good and free options available.Azulbears
Another app lost to the subscription model
I’ve been using Convoto for years since my job requires unit conversions almost daily. To be presented with a subscription option and not be grandfathered into full access is a slap in the face for the customers that loved the app and supported the developers from the beginning. I paid for this app when it came out and to be forced to subscribe to use features that were already available is disappointing. Time to find a better unit converter.Show lessVanilla minus

App was very useful from time to time till “ improvements“ was implemented. Now I have to Pay to unlock categories. Nooooo Thank you.ramol

The dev has decided to make it subscription based, like it was Netflix or something. It used to be quite good but now's just useless, unless you decide to keep satisfying the rentseeker.catchoo
