Quick exercises, fast improvement

I have always struggled with maths as a child and the trauma of a parent shouting at you because you couldn't get it didn't help that situation so I avoided it wherever I could, knowing it was always my biggest and most embarrassing weakness. I always hoped for an app to help me in maths, but also explain as clear as possible the answers. Brilliant does just that. Every day I'm feeling more confident in maths and the exercises are so quick and visually enjoyable. Worth every penny!

Glitch

Hi, when I do 100 puzzles and I get the answer wrong it plays the “lesson done” six and when that is playing I can press the finish lesson and it can play the sfx again and again!

Brilliant self paced learning

This app is more like a game than a learning program, but that doesn’t mean it’s not brilliant. Pun intended. You get points for completing different sections and it gives you a nice progress indication and compares you to other people who are also learning the same subject, so you can see how well you are doing compared to others. Every lesson or course starts of at the most basic level possible so anyone can do any course even if they have no experience at all in that subject. There are only very small bugs in the app user interface but that might be just because I have a very old phone and it no way stops you from using the program or completing any course. I can’t really fault this course other than it starts a little too simply for some courses, and it may be slightly too expensive for some people with limited funds (poor students)

Everything I’ve been looking for in a learning app!

I am absolutely loving the app. It has everything I’ve wanted to work on all rolled in one. Especially the math. It’s hard to find something to get your math skills brushed up with without slogging through a large text book, and any other app that offers convenient structure and problems to solve doesn’t really get into the depth or complexity needed for the higher levels, let alone will teach calculus!

It’s really good at ramping up the difficulty while walking you through in a way that doesn’t make you feel like your getting stuck and any section you’re struggling with you can repeat as many times as you want without having to reset your progress.

Amazing app. Excited to see where I’m at a year from now!

Best interactive learning app

This is by far my favourite interactive learning app, the concepts are small problems to slowly get you up to speeds then testing what you’ve learnt from solving those problems. Even the way it’s worded when you get something right or wrong is really nice because it explains it clearly so even if you get it wrong it explains what the right answer is and why. Great app and the only thing I want to say to the devs is (PLEASE MAKE MORE COURSES BECAUSE IM OBSESSED AND I WANT MORE!! - Specifically related to IT and Tech like more complex Computer Science, Networking, Coding, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning if possible 🫡 )
But great app I love it

Engaging and easy learning

I did not study Maths or Science beyond 16 y/o and have been thinking about rejoining education after nearly 15 years. This app has been a great refresher and I am doing Maths and Science equations I never thought I would be able to understand after just two or three days! The daily streak and leaderboards have kept me engaged as well as the interesting graphics and scenarios. It's also nice to be able to go between courses and subjects to switch it up and keep engaging. The only issue I have had is that sometimes the questions jump ahead a bit too far on a topic or (particularly with the Maths) use symbols that I don't know, without introducing them first. I'm still on the free trial currently, but would highly recommend to anyone wanting to brush up on their STEM subjects.

Amazing!!11

Brilliant is really good at teaching things at a high school to uni level. As a high school student, I’ve used brilliant as a way to get ahead in subjects like physics, maths and science. What differs with brilliant vs another service is that brilliant teaches things in a visual way and it helps me grasp topics allot better than any textbook.

The only issues I’d say would be that :
1.lots of content so you don’t know where to start, going to far ahead may make the work too hard while going too far behind makes the work too easy and there is no specific bench mark to decide where you fit, so I just start courses from the very start to the end, wasting some time as I already understand the content.

2. lack of practice questions, if you do it once you cant practice again as the questions will be the same when reviewing. Having some form of maybe ai generated practice questions would be cool and is plausible.

3. the pricing, either paying around 100AUD in full for a year or around 30AUD per month if paying monthly. So it’s rather expensive but I still believe it’s worth the subscription.

Overall if you have the money and are a visual learner I’d recommend to get brilliant. If you use it daily, it’s worth the investment.

worth every cent!

okay I went into this app with very high hopes and they were completely fulfilled. as someone who loves the set up of duolingo this was perfect for all my science/maths/problem solving needs. even in university classes these lessons are so helpful to understand the basics as many times as you need. overall just absolutely amazing I will be purchasing the premium because of how perfect this design is. thank you creators!!!

This is a wonderful app. It combines the complexity of learning, along with fun and competitive leagues, all of which come together beautifully like a song. I can see my favourite app quickly becoming this one, and I’m becoming more addicted by the day. If you’re reading this, I highly recommend this for you, especially if you enjoy to laugh about American StarBucks when you’re in a different country!

Excellent Brain Teaser!

This app is excellent if you are looking to develop your critical thinking skills. There are several sections including programming, mathematics etc but for me it was about enhancing my logical and critical thinking skills. I practice just for 5mins a day and I can definitely say I have seen an improvement. It is also fun. The style of questions contain a sense of humour e.g. “a set of robots have developed a fault that sometimes cause them to lie and you have to detect which ones are telling the truth,” which I thoroughly enjoyed. So I highly recommend.
