Was enjoying but i can’t pick up the candle at the tree house. Please fix this bug as I have noticed a few other people saying the same thing. Also have been taken backwards twice now. This was an expensive game so please fix it.Cathogs
Glitchy
Love the story. But has a few glitches. Several times when I have come back to the game it has lost all my data and I have had to start again. Now in the treehouse I can’t collect the lit candle. Wish I hadn’t wasted $12.99 on it.Ben.james
Gifted one - Paranormal Adventure
I still cannot pick up the candle. I have tried everything and it is keeping me from continuing. Please fix the problem. I see many players have noticed this also. I would have given it five stars but I cannot finish the game!Ltennis
A few hints here
I like this game enough to have played it/them probably a dozen times. I like all the characters except for the FBI guy, who when help would be appreciated basically just stands there and looks clueless. The game does present some difficulties, but they can be overcome and/or worked around, and after playing the game a second or third time it surrenders its frustration level, without becoming stale.
One thing I learned early is when pressing a direction arrow with no result, try pressing nearby spots that are more in the desired direction. You soon find yourself remembering those spots. A biggie that stumped legions and generated much discussion on the Net was how to remove the lit candle from the anvil. None of the online suggestions worked for me, but I finally stumbled onto the solution by virtue of sheer obstinance: you have to press on the flame!
Once you’ve completed the “Pursuit” part there is an unlocked bonus game that is just as well conceived and seems to be as long too. However, I find it somewhat annoying because in place of cute little Kevin and pretty investigator Samantha (both of whom I like) we now have a bratty pre-teen girl, along with the same FBI guy Eric, who thankfully is more active and reasonable this time around.
The puzzles and how they’re worked into the two stories are what shine, in my opinion. The animation and color art are exceptional, too. A lot of fun, and you get two games for your money.Show lessDaver88
Great game
I’ve played so many of these games over the years. On my iPad, Mac & PC. I’ve got to admit this one is now in my top favorites. It was a little different that’s why I enjoyed it. Storyline was interesting. Looking forward to the sequel!angcar7238
Disappointed
Could be a good game, except for glitches like the stuck candle in the tree house. Really hard to use arrow key to move from room to room sometimes, but you can use the map. Seems fixable. I couldn't have figured some things out without using hints.Omahahorrorlady
good game, but has bugs
i enjoyed the concept, and the HOPS were great - but totally frustrated by some of the game play. the arrows moving you back and forth between scenes were poorly positioned and sometimes wouldn’t work, either placed right over an active site, or not responding at all, leaving you stuck in a room and trying to figure out how to return to another scene. sometimes i couldn’t select items. twice i was stuck in a HOP for over 15 minutes because the obvious next move wouldn’t work...and then it FINALLY did. slow response overall throughout game sporadically. like i said, i wanted to give this a higher score, because the game itself wasn’t bad...but the execution was maddening.Show lessbuddha elf

Yes, the candle made me crazy for a short while. There were other similar minor issues on my Ipad. The main and bonus stories were very good, the hidden object scenes and puzzles a lot of fun. I want another.Ferngauth
Issues
Could have been a five, I’m on a new iPad Pro 256, still issues with freezing twice in same place in two separate players. Too, bad seems like a nice game, if I could finish it. I reinstalled it, same thing! It happens at the doll house.Kathristal
