Do not buy

Neo smart pen stopped supporting the N2 pen and it no longer works as it won’t connect to the app. Thus it is completely non functional. I contacted the company and they are not offering a free replacement with their updated product, instead you have to pay to ship the old pen and then they give you a discount coupon for either the new M1 or N2. It’s a shady business model, will not be giving them my business any longer!

Google Drive Sync STILL not fixed

I bet I get the same copy/paste response from the developer, if I get a response at all. 3 months and sync is still not working yet they continue to advertise feature and mislead people. Cannot recommend this product. Going back to Livescribe

Sync to Google Drive broken!

Since February 2019 the Google Drive sync is broken. Can’t trace it back to a specific app update, but the app says that Google connection is unstable (?) and keeps giving “Error 404”. Please fix it, I absolutely love the pen and the app except I can’t backup and restore!! Thanks

Fix your app!

The app will not let me restore from my backup due to “an unstable Google drive” connection.

Junk, run away.

Whenever I start or try to sync to google drive I just get error 404.
If you can’t export data out of the app then it’s useless.

How about more firmware Updates

Would love to see more support to improve the app. Add iCloud support.

Would be great if it worked

I have an N2 pen. I’ve been trying to pair it to my new iPhone with no success. I’ve formatted the pen, and the light is flashing blue, but it won’t register to my phone. It fails every time. It’s a good thing it still works as a normal pen, because it’s garbage otherwise.

Great concept but...

Bought the pen and calendar and was great at first. But the app is not account-centric so I cannot view my documents on multiple devices. Thus, I can see my doc on my iPad but not on my iPhone. This tool can only be truly useful for business if not limited to a single device. Once that is an available feature, could be five stars but until then it is just a promising tool.

Overwrites old notes with new ones when using multiple notebooks

Overwrites old notes with new ones when using multiple notebooks of the same kind. I thought that the point of the pen was that it would automatically write to the right notebook.

Also, it hasn’t been updated properly for the latest phones - UI overlaps the safe area.

Need improvement for Left hand writing

I find not showing my hand writing properly when I write with my left hand since I am a left handed. This makes me have to bend the pen in a complicated way to make sure the app is getting the right writing.
