Broken: doesn’t work with iOS 16 and iPhone 14 pro
Trying to use this with a iphone 14 Pro and iOS 16.1. The iPhone detects the camera being plugged in, the app will automatically launch, but the app then complains (sometimes) the camera cannot be detected, or (sometimes) will show an image but without refreshing (you don’t hear the camera clicking). Every once in a while, it works correctly. Can’t rely on it working, which is unacceptable considering the price of the cameras.

Camera not working with the latest IOS update 16.1
Had this for awhile, and it’s worked on every iPhone from my 5 up till now. I tried it in my 13 pro max, and it doesn’t show a camera installed. One time, it did show as installed, but wouldn’t show a screen. I tried it on my old 8+, and it worked like it always did. Went back to the 13, and nothing. Please update the app so the camera will work with the newest iPhones.

I’ve got an iPhone 13 pro max. This camera is the original one called the compact, and it works great on my iPhone 7plus, but since it’s easier to hold the phone upside down during use, the control icons and the image would invert on the 7plus, but won’t invert on the 13 pro max. I’ve contacted support twice, first time almost a year ago, and they thanked me for notification of the problem, but no update yet. Now it’s another year gone by, and no response or update. Sorta glad I kept my iPhone 7 Plus. How do you expect me to upgrade to a higher resolution camera if this one won’t allow updates?

It’s now been an additional year and still no update to address this problem. I’m running ios 15.7 now on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I had to downgrade my review to one star in light of poor response and lack of support.

No longer works on iPhone 13 Pro
After plugging the camera in without the app open, a prompt comes up asking to allow access to the camera. The app then starts to load and crashes to the home screen.
If instead the camera is plugged in with the app open, the app does not recognize the camera.

Works well again after iOS 15.4 update
Glad they got this working again on iOS 15. Four. Was having trouble with slow loading times after iOS 15 update but the 15.4 seems to have cured it.

Awesome!
I use this to find livestock in dark fields. I use it to check my house for leaks and wet areas. I use this to check for trespassers on our property. It’s very versatile and works. The only down side is that it clicks while focusing.
Cant use it in IPhone 12
It worked ok on my iPhone 8+, now I plugged into my iPhone 12 it just didn’t work. It’s the software problem. Should I wait till an update or just throw it away as garbage?
