  • Hangs… and suffers feature creep

    Often when you tap on the work order brief description to see the full written order, it will not load the next page. It will hang with a blank page. This is really frustrating when you’re on site and just trying to remember which unit needs the disposer (for example) or what’s the tenant’s contact info.

    Why is it necessary for the work order to be broken up into two pages? For all the details you need two taps to go to a stupid pop-up page. The work order should be on one page. Who’s got time for buried details or phone numbers?

    It’s nice that tap to call is enabled on iPhone, but why can’t text be an option? Nobody answers their phone anymore — they text. How old are the developers?

  • Upkeep has changed our business

    We have multiple location .. 60 to be exact between 3 states with each maintenance tech having a region/county. Before upkeep they had to go to each facility and would open a book full of work orders and often not have the tools or parts needed abd would have run get them. Upkeep has improved our efficiency ten-fold. Now they know what needs done so they arrive with what they need and can plan out their day to make a loop throughout and aren’t taking trips to facilities that don’t even need them. As a Regional Director I used it for nearly two years but once I was able to show how much it improved our efficiency the whole company adopted it. It is worth every Penny because it saves us money in time/fuel or additional parts because something went to long before being fixed. It’s easy for each facility admin to just add a quick work order in the app in their phone. We will never go back. Wish we wld have gotten on board earlier. ....

  • #1 Best Feature Presentation/Operation

    As a maintenance manager I’ve been looking for a cmms that’s user friendly for a while. Upkeep has been on the top of my list for some quite a bit of time now and it was time to pull the trigger on something.
    All I can say it wow! From the Trial run to final purchase (🤞🏻) this team at upkeep have been very helpful! I’ve receive more communication from my maintenance team than ever just during the trial run. Every business needs this! It’s modern, easy to use and most important the team acclimated to it within a few hrs! I’d say #1 Best Features & Presentation/Operation hands down.
    The amount of resources that are available beats out any so called “one time purchase”. It was important for our growing businesses to have flexible options as Prairie Dog Pet Products (that’s us😉🐶) continue to grow and there’s a price point for just about every business type and that’s great.
    I truly look forward to working with these guys they're professionals and are enthusiastic about their work, cuz it’s AWESOME!

  • Great! Except.

    Great program. Has everything I need except a general requester can not see notes left by tech. They just get an email that says “hey!” “work order complete”. This is very unprofessional and appears like it’s from a 12yr old kid. I have over 60 locations with 2500 employees. 1/3 of which can enter a request. If they want to see comments made regarding repair I have to send out individual invites to each person to make them a user in the system. Not going to happen.

    Currently shopping out a new program as a result.

    Hope upkeep can make updates internally to change this before we make or own changes.

  • Works

    I’ve only been using the free version for a couple of weeks with my team. I have found it to be incredibly helpful in organizing and getting task complete. The full version is really pricey for what we need or we could and have used ExpandShare in the past. That being said, it’s a really good free app, useful and well thought out.

  • Fernando Tarango Maintenance Manager for The Lamb Company

    UpKeep has been such a great addition to my tools as a Maintenance Manager, that i couldn’t see myself doing my job without it. At the start it does take time for you to input all your assets and inventory but once it’s done, everyone from management to purchasing, to the QA team will thank you for the great reports UpKeep creates all types of record keeping. Sending in or approving a work order is a breeze!

  • Very very happy but paying for it

    I am a maintenance employee for a management company in a beach town in Florida. I maintain several condo buildings, certain units in those buildings and several rental properties around town. I downloaded upkeep to help catalog assets (elevator, generator, all the way down to ovens and fridges) and keep record of work orders related to those assets as well as inventory to ease the billing process. It’s incredibly powerful and extremely helpful, does everything I need it to and probably much more. The reason for the 4 starts instead of five is really only because they certainly make you pay for additional features. This probably isn’t an issue for larger companies and is to be expected with powerful commercial programs, it was just notable and something to consider if you’re running a smaller but several person operation, as you will have to pay for each memeber of the team to access whatever tier of functionality they’ll need.

  • Awesome app

    I used this app for keeping track of vehicles I worked on and my part inventory and it worked great for me. I did not up grade only because I work alone and do not need to share the information with anyone else. In any case I recommend it or at least check it out and try it you can always delete it.

  • Very simple and quick to use

    There are a lot of good things about this app, but the one that really sold me was that putting in a request is faster and easier than just sending an email. I work at a church, so sometimes it’s hard getting everyone to go for another app that is supposed to make things “simpler”. This app really does.

  • The best maintenance request/work order system out there

    Hello, the UpKeep system is the best maintenance request and work order system out there. I demoed several products. Upkeep is easy to use for people making requests, has a great UIBut the simplicity does not take away from the functionality.
    I have 25 properties and 54 vehicles. Or use it for both maintenance request and preventative maintenance work orders.
    The people are great also, very helpful.
