Not quite perfect

We use OpenDocuments extensively on our IT systems so it would be great if it supported editing and saving in odf & odt formats.

Also due to IT security policy we don’t allow the use of cloud based storage services, but we do our sync through resilio sync instead and have it installed on all our devices. It would be great if there was native support to open from resilio sync like the other cloud service integrations.

So far, so good!

I downloaded the free version yesterday as I am having problems using Pages since it has changed some of its characteristics. So far, I really like it! I appreciate having a free version to try it out and have now paid for the premium app. I love the convert to Word feature, the extensive list of fonts and the fact I can import from other apps and the documents render well. Minor adjustments when necessary are easy to make. It seems it is updated regularly which is a bonus and that any issues encountered are addressed by the developers. I also would love the ability to use the ipencil to edit, so I look forward to more features in the future.

Feature Requests

Great app.
Pretty happy, so far. It is missing 2 things I need.

I will buy $15 OfficeSuite Pro if you add built-in thesaurus and auto word completion - including Learned words.
I do not use Apple's soft keyboard (Swiftkey). I use handwriting keyboard called Myscript Stylus. I need auto-complete built into OfficeSuite. Press spacebar to accept suggested word.

I would also like paid version to have shortcut for Spellcheck Whole Document and Thesaurus on extra keyboard row, and skip to bookmarks forward and backward. Need a button to select a word, sentence or paragraph near cursor, all at once.

Also need Dark-mode in paid and free OfficeSuite, and choose autosave frequency.

What's the difference between $15 Pro and $20 Premium apps?

Thank you. If you plan to add these features, reply here, and put them in feature list of paid OfficeSuite when you do.

Do we want real reviews or fake ones?

It takes time to research, explore, work out or investigate anything, both new and established. Maybe we live in a world where we are asked if we like something 2 minutes after downloading it, but the answer, in something that superficial, is fake.
I’ll write a real review when I have something. Until then, this is modeled like desktop . . . And that isn’t bad.

WAY better than Documents to Go!!

For years I've been looking for an app better than documents to go. An app that works smoothly, opens all my files with their various settings and options, and didn't have that annoying upload wheel every three seconds. This is the app that finally set me free from documents to go!

Office suite is cleaner, prettier, and works much faster. I compared it to the native MS excel and word and there's no comparison. It is more functional, familiar, and intuitive than MS's own apps!

So impressed I bought the paid pro version after 10 minutes of use. Wrote this review after a week. No problems at all, and I use a lot of complicated spreadsheets too (conditional formatting, averages, countA, sumif, and so on).

Тhank you very much for your detailed comment! We appreciate it!

Good app; does what it claims; easy to use

Upgraded to Premium. Overall very pleased. Use it to write blog posts in Word format and upload to Dropbox. Retrieve on my computer and upload to Wordpress. The paste function occasionally disappeared in Word but would reappear if I exited and reentered the app. That bug appears to have been fixed in the latest versions. Just started using spreadsheets. Also appear to be very good.
Update: the development team continues to add features and the app performs very well. Integration with Dropbox is good.

Out of this world!

Ability to transform PDF toWord and back again is a real life-saver. No such thing as an uneditable or unreadable document with this program. Links well with other apps on iPad to make no job impossible. The full version is a steal at the low price and well worth anyone's money. I have now renewed for an extra year. When Microsoft Edge or other Windows Apps let me down this can be a real life-saver, and at a fraction of the cost. Long live Mobi Office!
