Service Call

I was having issue with my aircon controller and specifically the app linked to it. I was able to make a service call and within a day was able organise a technician to attend. Brad came and quickly identified the issue and restored my system back to full use. Furthermore Brad took the time to explain all settings to make sure we get best use of our system - both efficiency and cost wise. Excellent service.

Always something wrong

Had this app and unit for two years and constant problems. App won’t connect from my phone or iPad so can’t turn aircon on as I leave work.
Or app shows as working and aircon on but hasn’t connected to the main wall Mount tablet at home. I get home and house is hot. Ring up out of hours “emergency “ number and don’t hear back.

Not Great

I’ve given a 2 star because when it works it’s great. But that rarely happens. I’ve had it for about 6 years and even got a new controller a couple of years ago but that made no difference. If I’m on the same Wi-Fi it will occasionally work. If I’m out and try to use it, it’s the same. Defeats the purpose of buying this system. Have to actually use the controller 90% of the time as the app continuously says error. Even though everything is updated.

Terrible

First download of this and it just wouldn’t even connect for weeks, all over the shop. An update meant it connects but the entire system has a mind of its own! It’s currently winter here & we leave our heat on over night as we have small kids and I’ll wake up at 3-4am for example when it’s freezing and the whole system has turned itself off completely or switched from heat to aircon!?? Happens at least twice a week.

Would be such a cool app and system if they got it right!

Very convenient and reliable

Had our new Daikin AC with ezone connectivity for a few years now. Apart from needing a replacement wall control panel (all promptly covered under warranty) very early on, the whole set up has been excellent and super convenient. Our iPhone app connectivity has had no issues and works flawlessly. Just does what you expect. Highly recommend.

I’ve had this for about 5 years now.

2 x controllers (gizmo’s in the loft)failed in the early days but customer service was excellent and they promptly repaired; touch wood it’s been good for the last 4 years.

The system can be very frustrating and does need TLC every now and again. Issues with google services shutting down can be a real pain in the…

Clearing the cache alone on this app ( google services) will not stop the problem. Power the system down ( I pull the data cable from the Back and leave off for ten). You then need to enter every app on there and clear the cache from each one.

This can cause a issue with the internet connectivity, so enter wifi setting ( advanced) and make sure it’s set to “keep wifi on during sleep”.

When the system is running smoothly it’s fabulous, but every now and again it needs some loving.

Promises so much.....deliver so little

This app promises the sort of home automation remote control that these days is pretty standard. Nice features to remotely check and manage the AC remotely via your phone.
Unfortunately more often that not it fails to work. Can’t connect, cryptic error messages....waste of time. The eZone controller in the house isn’t much better. Prone to continual restarts, updates and please contact Advantage Air for service messages.

New changes

Yeah it’s okay and all, but it frustrates me how someone else can turn off your air conditioner by using the app from their phone. It’s annoying. They should put some kind of “air lock” on the app so no one else in the family turns the air con off. I have not had a good sleep because I keep waking up sweating and with the air con off, when I had it on before I even went to bed. School is coming up and I certainly do not want to be waking up every now and then. Make some changes people!!

DONT EVEN BOTHER

This system is appalling, had it installed for 2 years now and has never worked properly from day 1. After multiple follow up calls i was fobbed off by saying it was user error. Since i have had this system installed I've started working for an electrical and a/c company, im a plumber. They have said my ac is good (Fujitsu) but the controls are shocking and recommend i change. cant control my system via phone 95% of the time comes up communication error. Only way i can control from the phone is by turning on at the main controller, which completely defeats the object of having phone control.

Works ok but could get better

App is okay. Everything working during the summer period. Hoping there would be more functionality built into it rather than just setting an alarm for local weather and turning the aircon on. How about setting it so that it turns on when a set temperature is reached on a certain zone eg. east facing room getting too hot
