I don't know how I ran across this game but I am so glad that I did. I can only explain this game as an amazing dark, supernatural psychological mystery. Once you are into it, you don't want to put it down. It's like a book but a book with necessary puzzles and imagery. The 8 bit graphics make it easier for you to use your imagination. It's a simple point and click mechanic with puzzles just challenging enough to keep you interested. It's an amazing story so far. I am just starting chapter 3. It's definitely worth the $4 to unlock the whole story. It even includes 4 mini-sodes that go along with the main story. I recommend this game for anyone who enjoys a dark, gripping, mature, supernatural story.

Just started the second episode and it's amazing! This game is the kind you pick up thinking it'll only hold your interest for maybe 5 minutes and before you know it, several hours have passed and you've become engrossed in the story. 10/10, A+, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is on my list of the top 3 horror games ive ever played on pc and or a tablet. You can tell these devs worked long and hard on the story for this game and i absolutely love it. I cant wait to finish up the first season so i can go to the devs website and purchase the two episodes that are out for season 2. Please, if you are a horror fanatic or are in to lovecraft,give this game a chance, i guarantee you wont be disappointed. Whoever says you need awesome graphics on an expensive console or pc to be scared by a horror game needs to play this. I honestly cant say enough great things about this game.
I only played the first episode, and I loved it! Very intriguing game, can't wait to buy the other episodes!
Here are some quick game tips for people who need help, but don't worry, I won't give too much away. ;)
1. Some objects are red herrings. Don't be fooled!
2. Don't look up cheats on the internet! Once you know what to do, it only takes about 5 minutes to complete, so don't look up cheats and enjoy the game for maximum experience! It's tough, but you can do it!
3. Look closely, some objects are small,unnoticeable, or hidden away. First time I played I had to backtrack several times.
4. There is a mode in the settings to make the font easier to read! Just simply turn on the "dyslexic font" which makes it easier to read.

I've loved this game so far. I'm almost done--only one episode left--but I'd like to point out a bug on the third level. While walking through a certain door in the bookstore, the game goes black and will not continue. If you exit the app and close it (on iPhones double tap the circular button and remove it by flicking it off screen) then you can restart the app and make it through. Restarting your phone won't help.
I heard about this game online, and after listening to all the positive comments about it, I decided to give it a ago. I've gotten through the first episode, and I must say that what I've seen so far is absolutely wonderful. The game is so creepy and atmospheric, and the pixelated art style suits the mood of the game wonderfully. And the music -- I could go on about the music. The music made for this game is gorgeous. LOVE IT. Well, I'm off -- to keep playing, honestly.
I love this game so much and I bought the other three chapters but now I'm experiencing bugs in the app. It keeps freezing when I try to complete tasks or click on an object. Thinking that my phone was messed up, I turned it off then back on and now the app won't even open. Please fix this because I'm on chapter four and I really want to finish.
After playing the first episode, I debated whether or not to buy the rest. I typically don't with other games but I enjoyed the first episode of "The Last Door" and really wanted to know the rest of its creepy but very intriguing story. I went ahead and purchased the rest and I'll tell you - it was totally worth it! I love the gameplay and storyline. The music is wonderful and helps strengthens the game's appeal...and scare factor. If you enjoyed the first episode then I recommend you buy the rest. You won't be disappointed!
From the start, this game has you on the edge of your seat up until the end! Wish it wasn't over! Love the collectors series, after chapter 1, buying the series was a MUST. Recommending to ANY and EVERY one who will listen! I normally don't EVER spend money on apps, but this was a HAVE TO HAVE & I need more!!! Thrilling and I absolutely love the storyline.. Keeps you guessing with every tap!
There are a lot of games being made in the retro pixel art, and tons of indie projects out there. I've become a bit skeptical simply due to the amount of content out there. That said, this game really stands out, it's exactly what this style of game should be: interesting, creative, and very well thought out. I was addicted to it after the first episode and promptly purchased all the content, which did not disappoint. It is a traditional puzzle-solving and exploration game with an intriguing Lovecraftian tale to tell and a lot more suspense than you would expect: I'm a horror fan and it made me jump a few times! Great sound effects and music. Thoroughly enjoyable, all I can say now that I've beat it is: when can we expect more?
