How does this work?
Yea, so, uh. Downloaded and it starts asking for codes that I have no idea where to find or what they're for. How about a little direction on how this works?

Finally Figured It Out
Took a while to figure this out…Click on plus sign to add account. Copy website URL into the "Issuer” then put in your username for that website into “username.” The “OTP Shared Secret” is the 2FA code the issuer has given you to authenticate. The code OTP Manager returns back to you goes into the issuer’s query space. Voila. Still clueless about scan codes :-)

huh?
how can i judge when I don’t even know the terminology i.e. ‘tokens'? I am not illiterate -computer or otherwise - but I am not a daily manipulator of my computer or the internet. I just plug along and try to keep up. This sounds very computer know-it-all to me.
How do I use it?
I downloaded and installed this app, but there are no instructions on how to use it. The English used does not sound like a native-speaker wrote it and there are terms in the three fields that are inexplicable. It's not much good if I can't understand it. Perfect
Easy and Works well.
I do not understand how this works.
Please explain how this app works..
Used daily
OTP Manager is one of the most simple and easy-to-use HMAC time-based key managers I’ve used on macOS.
Best app I have found, but has room for improvement.
I use many different software tools in my role at a large tech firm. They all require two-factor login so I am constantly using this tool.
Rather than having to open the window, it would be great if the code just appeared in the menu bar, or in some less obtrusive area.
I love that I can hide the dock icon, and at least the OTP window remembers where it is supposed to sit when I open it, preventing me from having to constantly reposition it.
I would like to thank the developer for the work put into this simple utility that has made an impact on my ability to stay productive.

Would be nice if there was a setting not to display the icon in the menu bar

I have a keyboard shortcut to open OTP manager window, so no need to use unwanted space in the menu bar
