Dreadful, dreadful, dreadful app
Worked fine for years, then suddenly - it’s a different app! You now need to register to log in (previous credentials on the network not recognised), then once logged on with new id, the app doesn’t find the individual nodes or see the networks I’d set up. Tho the network is still running! I just can’t get to it. The app was always a bit clunky, but it worked. To completely replace the app with one that can’t see or connect to an existing Tenda mesh network is pure bonkers. I’ve tried repeatedly for weeks. Yes, I could reset all 7 boxes & create a new network, but what’s the point - if this is how existing customers are treated it’ll likely happen again. I am sooo sorry I recommended Tenda mesh to many others over the years when mine was working great. My faith has reached its expiry. So all the boxes I’ve bought for myself (& parents) over several years are now destined for the skip, to be replaced with a trusted brand. If you already have a system - good luck! If you don’t, avoid the Chinese junk that’s clearly now aimed at harvesting & selling customer data rather than delivering any kind of working system.Show lessJoolzJuliJoolz
You Now have to register & log in to do anything
This app used to work ok & has done for 3-4 years . However since feb 23 it now appears to have updated, you now have to register & log in just to perform any of the basic functions to check on your system .
Why would anyone need or want to set up account just to use a wifi booster ? It’s Utterly ridiculous.
I’ll be selling all of mine on eBay & moving to something that’s not so intrusive & interested in selling my data .Show lessFunkyworm01

Tenda Mesh 3 stopped working after update
Recently after the app update/firmware my entire mesh network stopped working. Tried multiple resets and removing from mesh, has not helped.nairuk112
Don’t update app
Tenda has lost my account and all of my device settings across multiple locations. The mesh is currently running however the app can’t see the mesh running on the network. Re-install no longer has the camera and once you have logged in you can’t log out. This is terribleyahseus

Don’t expect greatness from this app, or any support. I’ve been using it for over a year and managing my expectations relative to the cost of the hardware. Had an (alleged) big update in Jan 24 which rendered the app useless, although the mesh network wasn’t affected, until I factory reset the primary node, ran through it’s set up again and everything magically appeared - all secondary nodes and all devices. I had to rename all the devices again but weirdly it remembered the groups I’d created.

My account and devices are lost!!
Today when I opened the Tenda app,it asked me to register, I have to register again with my email. And then all my devices are gone!! Terrible software quality!!
