  • I feel positive about this new app

    I am using iPhone13 and I am pretty happy about new app. The new UI looks much better than the previous version, and I think it's well-designed. I particularly like the tech stack used, especially how bus stops are displayed based on the viewport. However, there are a few areas that could be improved: 1. UX Improvements: When I click on a bus stop, the upcoming trips modal covers the map, and there's no easy way to minimize it. Currently, it only minimizes if I click the full-size icon on the map, which is placed just below the app header. This is inconvenient, especially when using my right hand, as I have to stretch to reach it. It's also not intuitive what the icon does. I suggest adding a down arrow icon next to the modal header to make it easier to minimize. 2. Favorites Page: Unlike other pages, the Favorites page no have a "go back" icon, and you can only return by clicking "Cancel." It would be better to include a back icon for consistency. 3. Map Performance: Zooming in and out on the map causes lag in rendering, which affects the overall experience. While the app’s timetable seems accurate, buses often don't arrive on time or sometimes don’t come at all without any notification. This isn't directly related to the app, but I hope real-time bus updates are added soon so I don't have to wait for buses that aren't coming. Also, consider updating the App Store image, as it still shows the old design. Lastly, I’m curious if it’s difficult to implement instant balance updates when recharging a bus card. It would be great if the recharge applied immediately or takes one business day

  • Disappointing

    After the new update I have missed busses almost three times in a row. Do not rely on this app
  • Plan your trip

    Plan your trip clearly has very inaccurate scheduling and needs to be updated. Multiple times I’ve left at the time specified by the app only to find when I get to the bus stop that the schedule there is completely different and the bus shows up by the stop schedule and not by the app. What’s the point of having plan your trip when the time is completely off. I will be using maps from now on as they seem to be more accurate.

  • Trip planner does not work at all

    Unable to search for a destination with trip planner.
    “PLACES_AUTOCOMPLETE:
    REQUEST _DENIED: The application is not allowed to use the Placeservice”
  • Terrible

    Has issues all the time currently timing out when checking balance so have to authenticate every time to check balance on card.
    Also missing the basic feature of having more than one card at time very annoying to check kids cards balance have to login in and out few times to check every card add the feature and fix the app years since an update pathetic

  • Still formatted for iPhone 4 in 2023

    Just a poorly implemented app in general, if there is a closer bus stop that is not serviced by the bus you could get, it will make you change busses and take an hour instead of catching one bus and walking an extra 10 minutes.

    Place names in the app are out of date, ie for Hobart City Highschool you need to search for Ogilvie High School

    So many other things that could make this a much more functional and user friendly experience and not an app designed by the intern for free

  • Improvement needed

    This app has a good concept base but lacks execution.
    Route updates need to be included on the trip planning section
    Live time tracking of buses would be great preferably via gps tracking
    And the ability to change zone (including non urban zoning) prior to boarding would make a huge improvement.
  • Needs more regular updating

    Please please PLEASE with cherries on top update timetabling information on a routine basis. This us the most basic function of this app and if that’s not reliable it’s just not trustworthy.
    2 stars since when it DOES match the timetable I’ve found it really convenient.
  • Green Card Queey

    Can you use your Green Card App on your phone to pay your fare? I could not work out how. The driver thought I needed a card.
  • Greencard support is weak & counterintuitive

    Don’t expect any useful support if you want to top up your Metro credit in a greencard, using an iPhone.
    Their system generates error messages and their staff are ambivalent about customers when you attend the Metro shop - one person’s response was “just update to iOS14, we’ve been having problems with the app”. Too bad if you just wanted to top up the credit without having your greencard to hand over and do it the 2015 way...
