  • Annoying add and rating notifications!!!

Great easy to use app but highly frustrating that you’re bombarded with spam from developer asking you to rate the app AND to use their “paediatrician approved baby tracker”. Not the kind of crap you need when you’re in labour and trying to figure out what’s going on with your body. Still can’t figure out how to stop it so have stopped using it for another app.

My partner downloaded it on his google phone and had no adds compared to mine on iPhone. Why is there a difference??

  • Watch app data does not sync

I have been using my Apple Watch as well as my iPhone to time contractions. Both seemed to be working until I looked at the data today and noticed that although the app seems to work on the watch, none of the contractions registered from the watch port over to the app on my iPhone, so those were completely nonexistent in my contraction timeline and data, making the information useless. It’s incredibly annoying. So only the contractions registered from my phone show up in the contractions list. I’ve verified that the app is listed in my watch list and everything. If you plan to only use your iPhone then this app will work fine for you.

  • Good

Easy to use and my husband likes the graphs. Would prefer not to be constantly asked to rate the app while timing contractions though.
  • Love the app but the ads are really annoying

The app is very simple to use and I love that you can tap anywhere to stop the timer but when your trying to concentrate on my wife’s labor and other things, the promotion of their other app is just annoying after each contraction. I would have considered downloading it but because it’s so annoying I’m not going to bother. Maybe a reminder ever so often would be ok but not after each and every contraction.

  • Really handy app!

Found this really helped to take the edge off and be able to focus on breathing instead of trying to keep track of the length in my head as the contraction was coming. Handy that it shows how long between contractions it has been as well, just made a stressful time that bit less stressful!
  • It convinced us that labour was starting

I used Contractions Timer to time my wife's contractions with our second child. Our first had a long labour which started very gradually so we were unsure of the exact signs of early labour. With this app I was able to easily measure and see the timings of the contractions and relay this to the labour triage who recommended that we come in. A few hours later we had our healthy second baby. Thank you Contractions Timer.

  • Perfectly simple

Great app - easy to use and clear to go back through your data
  • Hsh

    Easy to use and understand
  • Works well, edit capability would improve it

I've just started using this and it's easy to use. Simple interface, nice to be able to make note of intensity.

It would be great if you could go back to a record and edit the start/stop time. A couple of times I forgot to stop the clock and was stuck with an inaccurately long contraction in the analysis.

Also, it would be really helpful if you could change the screen saver setting from within the app.

  • Easy to use. Could use some improvements.

This app is very simple and easy to use. When one is having a contraction this is much appreciated. Where I think it falls short is in access and the graphs.
Having the app be available on the lock screen would certainly bring it up a level. Sometimes unlocking ones phone doesn’t happen upon first attempt. Add in having a contraction and frustration ensues. By the time you get to the app the contraction is half over (I realize you can manually adjust the time of the contraction, but hear me out)
Next, the graphs. I would recommend seeking a consultant for help on how best to lay out the data. Currently it doesn’t make sense. The time shouldn’t be on the y-axis.
