Pop3 support.
I host my own server on my intranet and I use a pop3 server and I’ve been using your app for years.
Every so often I have to delete your app to free up over 7 GB of temporary data that never clears even when you reset the app.
Today I uninstall the app and reinstalled it and I can’t seem to create a pop3 account, I remember I had trouble before but eventually it worked but now I can’t seem to get it to work, what am I doing wrong there’s no support email contact.

Wonderful Concept. Very Promising, but buggy scrolling
Very Promising and a wonderful concept, but there is such buggy scrolling that makes it impossible to read many emails. If all you want to do is archive mail, this is a great app for it, but it is not stable enough for full-time use.
Great Product!
Such a great product - shame that it’s not supported
Best email client you will ever need
I’m a type of a gadget freak, and like to test out new things… so I’ve tried almost every email client there is.
This is by far the most beautifully organized email client you could wish for. It collects all the emails of one person at one place and segregates them by subject. So you’d have a roll of all correspondence no matter through which account it happened, and yet you can expand a whole separate thread you were discussing.
Still you keep traditional mail look, not some chat form. And you have all the attachments in one place. It’s a dream to work with, I can not ever use another client after being so spoiled with this one.
One remark for a lower score is inconsistency in fetching email, as they don’t keep passwords on their server for the point of security, thus it’s not push, but fetch. And they seem to be very irregular.
Other than that, it’s incredible that I don’t even mind paying for two separate subscription both for mac and iOS.
Wish they will come to senses and continue supporting this app with a bit better advertisement, I’m sure they’d make it essential!

Best email app.
It’s so easy to find emails.
Only 4 stars because there is no dark mode, which frankly, gets on my nerves.

Great until a problem
Unibox is not allowing deletion of emails. Yo delete bunches, exit the app and the next time I open the app they all download again? Unable to contact developer and despite me purchasing years ago it not says I haven’t purchased? Is the app no longer supported?
If only this wasn’t abadonware
Come on, developer. This is by far the best email client on iOS and macOS. Why have you abandoned the project? The desktop client has become unusable since it doesn’t support proper authentication methods that many email servers nowadays require. I can no longer use it at work as a result where we use Office365. Please update these apps. Make it a paid update for all I care.

Captures mail from more than one address
I loved this feature, getting both addresses blended and delivered in date order. BUT one day I noticed UNIBOX had discontinued one of my accounts. I’ve tried and TRIED to re-add the second address with no success. I tried to go directly to that email account to see the activity there but I can’t access it because UNIBOX has control of it. This is my fervent cry: Unibox, please contact me or re-activate my second address! I’m begging you. I need to setup TeleHealth & I’m sure it was sent to my second address.
All UNIBOX subscribers should have access to a website that communicates answers to question AND an email address when the website doesn’t cover the issue.

Not mobile responsive
Unfortunately the mobile app is not mobile responsive. It’s a shame because the desktop app is pretty good except for the fact that the spam filter just doesn’t work. Sorry to give this 1 star but the 2 things are essential.
Additionally, support doesn’t ever respond to my emails asking about the mobile responsive issue.
I notice that the mobile app now refuses to delete emails too.
Pretty frustrating experience after buying the pro version a couple of years ago believing in this developers vision.

Good but not great
Triaging email by sender is the best way to rip through a full inbox, at least for personal email. And this app does it extremely well.
Where it falls down is in its usability, beyond the swipe-to-delete type functionality. It is frustrating when it comes to archiving email into folders, for example. It’s a swipe to mark read, then call up the menu and tap move to folder, then scroll through all the folders to pick the right one. Times that by tens of emails, and it stops being fun.
The app should remember the folder that emails from a sender generally go in and offer that as the first option. Or better still, a list of most used folders *for that contact*. Also, why can’t I set up a “move to folder” swipe for all messages from a contact (currently, you can only have this per individual email)?
