Much worse since the June update
Much of the time the site is inaccessible and, when it is accessible, not particularly useful.
I no longer receive emails and when I try to go into my account details to check - it is just blank. No method of actually being able to enter information.
The site states that reservations are ready for pick up but the books are not in the library and the staff are unable to locate.
Feel sorry for the staff as they are ones trying to deal with problems caused.Show lessTrwdn
Very slow to open
The app is worse than the one it replaced, it seems to be full of bugs and when opened it takes up to 1min to open, the previous app was more or less instantaneous?olivia witington
New Update - awful
Edit - still awful. Very slow. the app doesn’t work the majority of the time which means you cannot reserve items. It seems to stop working at night time then comes back online in the morning. I really wish they would revert back to the old version as this one has no benefit and is waste of tax payers money!
After waiting a long time with no app as it was been “developed” (usually these things happen in the background, then the apps are switched to the new one) the new app is pretty much the same just less useable. App totally pointless after update
Who on earth takes a working app, does an update and then makes the new version totally dysfunctional? I’ll tell you who, LibrariesWest.
What an utterly pointless update. I used to receive notifications about upcoming renewals but now I get zero. I used to be able to log onto the app and renew books but now you cannot even do that.
What an absolute disgrace. Who thinks this is even fit to roll out having seen how pointless it is?

They've destroyed this App!
This App used to be helpful. Not perfect, but good enough. Until the library reorganisation in June 2024.
Now I just see little circles going round and round for my loans and orders. And I never receive those helpful reminders when a book is due for return.
Because the library computer system has also been changed. Which is difficult for the new library staff. The most experienced already left our library because of the sudden changes to their terms of service.
So now we have chaos!

Could do with a lot more functionality
If you just want to renew your books before getting a fine and use a basic search tool, then this works. If you want to access the excellent resources on the website eg magazines, newspapers, e-learning and more, then you don’t need this app.katykaos
Very problematic
App was working OK until short while ago. Now I can’t navigate between pages in my account. Have to close everything down, go back to start and then straight to the page I want. Repeat process if I need a different page. Have followed instructions to delete app and reinstall. No change. Help!Dorset Gal
Request for loans history improvement
A pretty good app. I use it a lot to search for books that I want to reserve which I can also do through the app.
I have two requests which would make this app so much more useful
Could you add a title and author search filter to the loans history please? I borrow a lot of books and it’s just too cumbersome to search an entire list of loans history to see if I’ve read a book before.
Is there any way you can indicate the size of font in the book information? I often reserve books only to find when they arrive that the Print is too small for me to comfortably read. The large print books are too large for me. I just want the regular font size in the books I borrow.Show lessAnn Patey
Linked accounts disappear
Good to be able to use your library card barcode on your phone. Frustrating that my linked accounts keep disappearing and have to be added.Wooders4387
