You can search for titles and authors and get a sensible response, reserve books, and see what you have out on loan. Vast improvement over previous version that didn’t work at all. Well worth downloading.philbdorset
Generally good as long as you know what you want
If you know the title of what you want it’s great, but there’s no facility for browsing categories which would be good.

New app
The new/updated app fixes (to date) all the issues for searches, reservations, renewals etc. I don’t find items on the app and then google the main site to reserve for example. Also, history is back - yes it is, look carefully! 5 star.forkryinoutlowd
Greatly improved
The layout is more intuitive and easier to use. The ability to filter results by the medium is a big improvement as it will help me avoid reserving music scores when I want cds.
Searches still rather slow but this may be down to database size.sjakdp
Unable to reserve items
Used to be able to reserve items but cannot now. Told only can search for items and have to reserve items on a PC!
If an items is held at a Prison library then you cannot reserve it. Waste of time having it in the inventory. Gives false hope that a much wanted item is available when it is not.mickbrooks991
Scrolling not working on loans
Was exited to have this as an app, but I just downloaded it to check my loans but scrolling isn’t working and it only shows me the 1st 3 items on loan (and only half the picture of the lowest one). Would be great if fixed, otherwise is pretty useless to me.guff1234
Generally good but with flaws
Very hand for checking return dates and renewing but some annoying bugs. E.g. When trying to renew a FastBack it doesn't say you can't, it just comes up with an error.Renowden
Needs improvement
Good for renewing loans, but not much else. Scrolling down doesn't work, so you're stuck with a page worth of catalogue or description, then can't see the rest.
It would also be useful to have the click&collect function to get books sent to different libraries.spikefriday13

I see all the reviews are old and poor but have just downloaded this App and find it works well and is an easy way to access the catalogue.Elderfeet
Catalogue search does not work
I don't think a public library network should be releasing test software to the public.
The ability to search the library catalogue is surely one of the most important functions of this app.
But it's not working properly. Only one search field is available, and it doesn't look like you can refine that search. In any case, what ever I search for, I always get four random results, i.e. just enough to fill my iPhone screen.Show lessDeep South Dan
