Best on the App Store
This is the app I’ve been looking for! Excellent features with the free version and completely ad free!
After going through 10 different countdown apps I can confidently say this one tops the chart in my books. A lot of people complain about not being able to change the font of the text but it is one less thing to worry about in my opinion. The font the developers picked is perfect enough.
Love the flawless synchronization with Unsplash that gives a beautiful look to all of my events. My favorite feature by far though is the app icon badge which displays the number of days until the next event (as I have it set) or if wanted, the number of upcoming events.Show lessBen Runger
Very Disappointed
I had another App which went by the same name as this one (Days) which has stopped working and no longer exists in the App Store, unfortunately . Well, this is not a patch on that App which gave you much more versatility. There was room to write lots of text on the other version and although you couldn’t insert photos, at least you weren’t forced to. Why would I want to put a photo for everything I am listing? I used the other app for all sorts of things and for most of them a photo would not have been appropriate. Why can’t we have the choice as to whether or not we use a picture? All this App does, is allow you to put a one line title and that’s it. Waste of money and I’m sorry I bought it now.Show lessAndrew Chidwick
Great app
The app is great, and far better than most countdown apps I’ve used, and now this one is the only one on my home screen. I love your selection of images to choose from and I always return to the app to check the countdown. However, I dislike how you can only use up to five countdowns before asks you to purchase unlimited countdowns. Apart from that, no other changes would be needed at all!

Amazing
The UI is just amazingly simple and crystal clear. Very smooth. I upgraded to the paid version seriously in 10 minutes from using the app.
I just wish it had a duly notification for the upcoming events. That would actually be so cool.

Pick your image feature
Being able to select the background image for my countdown weight loss goal is everything! I can have my “before” picture right there as a reminder!mklo11
ONLY ONE PROBLEM
Love it - been great until the recent IOS update. Paid for premium and now the font colour of the widget has turned black (it was white) and I can't see the countdown on the background image. It would be GREAT if that could either come back OR we got the option to choose the colour font we want :) when you physically open the app the font is white which is great!Show lessRachelLeafa
Modification Suggestion :)
I like this app. It’s proven useful on more than one occasion. I have a few new ways of using it, though I’d like to be able to set reminders every 10 week for a ‘tick treatment’ reminder for my pets (one recently had a close call -thankyou to our awesome vet who we paid for!)
I could set reminders in my phone calendar but I have so much going on there I’d prefer to set this important reminder in my Days app. I’d give it five stars if I could set reminders for, for example, ‘weekly’ then another drop down menu for number of weeks. :)Show lessearthernly
Looks great but lacks days since
The apps UI looks very clean and easy to use. Adding gestures might make the app more friendly - for example, I find myself swiping down to close an event (similar to Facebook) but because the gesture hasn’t been implemented it doesn’t do anything and I instead have to reach across my phone to the ‘x’ on the top left.
I also mentioned in the title that the app is missing Days since for recurring events! For items like anniversaries, it’s great to know how much time has passed since an important date!

Wrong Time Zone?
Clever idea but seems to be stuck one day behind! Maybe because I’m in NZ and it’s based elsewhere? But I’d think it would go off my phone’s calendarMissBrady
Just a couple little things
There are so many things that I like about this app: ease of use, red button on badge, simplicity. But, there are just a couple of things that drive me a little nuts. 1. As so many others have mentioned, I’d love to have the ability to customize just a little with font size, color, adapt the photo just a touch. 2. But the second one is actually a problem. I emailed about this and have not received any word back. The number of days my badge shows is different than the number when I open the app up (the inside number is accurate). The badge number seems to get “stuck” I’ve had it be off by as many as 3 days and when one of the things that I like about the app is that it is so simple to just turn my screen on and there’s the count-down, this definitely results in my satisfaction decreasing.Show lessSarmicsher
