  • More than I thought

I got the app to know my battery level and to see the miles I’ll hit, but there is much more then that. You can customize shaping, know your top speed, leaderboards, and achievements you have done. I also especially love the group ride feature and to be able to ride with massive groups and meet new friends. Love the app and can’t wait for new updates in the future.

  • Achievements are cool but...

I use the app to check the status of my Wheel while riding. Speed. Battery life. I was excited about the achievements. Literally rode 64 miles today (the most miles I’ve clocked in a day to the best of my knowledge) and found myself captain Morgan style with 3% battery a few feet from my driveway but the app never registered my mileage? It clocked that I rode 64 miles but never gave me credit for the achievement. Weak sauce. For what it is, it does just fine but my sore feet, tired legs and stiff back would like to be recognized for their group effort today!

  • Could do with some refinement.

Some feedback: the daily challenges - are they local 24 hour cycles or ‘Merican standard time? And seeing the rides on the map would be much more useful if you could chose to see the whole trail and not just the start point. I have resorted to making my own custom google map to achieve this and it is unwieldy. Otherwise app does what it says on the tin, minimal issue with its functioning.

  • Crashes straight away

Dont update or it will crash
  • All Useful Information Has Been Removed

With the latest update, so many useful statistics have been removed, most notably (in my opinion) the battery voltage level. The Onewheel app does not report on actual battery pack voltage, but rather the amount of energy used, which is why it‘s so hard to get an accurate guess of how much range you have left - is my battery going to die at 30% or will I be able to go all they way to 0%? This is just one more step Future Motion is taking to reduce usefulness to the user and make the Onewheel "a magic black box" that shouldn‘t be upgraded or repaired.

  • Great basic app

The social network ability stuff like adding friends needs some work. Would be great for you guys to just knock on some social media people doors right in the silicon valley (down the street) to help you out with the social/groups/friends stuff. The mapping ride feature is awesome and the leaderboards are fun competition but would be better if I was able to find my friends and compete with them. Talk to Elon possibly? Let’s make this the Tesla app of skateboards!

  • Nice vanity stats

Works well enough, the vanity stats are pretty cool. The widget has such potential but needs a lot of love.
  • Can’t toggle between multiple Onewheels

The app is fine. The only issue I have with it is there doesn’t seem to be an efficient way to toggle between multiple onewheels. I have both the XR and the Pint. When I’m not riding them, I let my kids ride them. And they always want to know how fast they’re going. So I connect to one of them, and look at the stats. Then when I want to see the mph on the other Onewheel, I have to close the app, and go back into it to connect to the other Onewheel. It’s quite an inconvenience.

  • Why can’t I set a max speed limit?

My only complaint about the app is that there is no way to set a max speed. I literally should be able to type in (or move a slider) to tell the onewheel to not exceed my desired speed. I know some people want to go as fast as they can on these things but that’s not me... I know there’s a “pushback” feature but that’s not what I’m asking for.

Why else would you want this feature? Well, if you have kids (I do) and you want them to ride but not be able to do 20+ miles an hour.... just saying...
