Confusing information for ordering

I thought I had ordered membership/on line maps/ID card but it appears no membership - so no discount card! I have books from previous years and because they are heavy opted for the Ap to search for sites. So, I have the Ap working and the ID card but NO MEMBERSHIP CARD. BUYER BEWARE.

ACSI review

We use ACSI all the time and have stayed on sites supporting ACSI all over Europe. Two years ago we visited nine countries in one trip and only used ACSI supported sites. They were all excellent without exception. We always recommend membership to our friends. I have renewed for 2021.

Very useful

Used it recently for two weeks in France and found it excellent. Read the reviews of sites and booked accordingly not one bad site all excellent and with discount using the card. Thoroughly recommend

Use it all the time

I use the Camping Card app and the full ACSI app and have probably found 100 sites with them over the years. Always buy all the countries at the beginning of the year and so far have had no problem with this. Would like to see some improvements to the search: the filter on campsites still leaves all the aires visible - please build a capability only to see campsites other than just deleting all the aires from the app; there should be a map view for favourites - the list view is useless for planning; and favourites should propagate over all instances of the app (iPhone and iPad in my case) and across both CC app and the full ACSI app

Do I like the ACSI app

Of course I do,
My Wife and I have just spent 3 Months wandering around Europe in our Motorhome, the app was absolutely invaluable, not only for the ease in selecting sites, but much more information that any book can give.
Notably, ratings and up to date info, and most importantly, the reviews left by the many other like minded users.
It’s handy to know that the local bus to the town for instance, runs from outside the entrance.
I like to be fairly well informed when I choose my site, the app is perfect.

Smart phone

It needs to have the ability to be able to have your discount card on your smartphone as we are away when the new version come out.

Can not register as a member on the app

The app is badly designed for registering as a member. The iPhone keyboard covers the final “register” button and will not let you select it. The keyboard is not the type that lets you hide it either. The company has no contact details so you can tell them about this bug, so I’m telling everyone else instead.

At Last! Latest Update Solves the Problems!

Well, after an age, ACSI have sorted the previous bugs that made the GB and Ireland package so unusable. Well done!

Now, all my four packages (Spain & Portugal, France, GB & Ireland and Italy work as intended and are very good. I give 5 stars now.

The software is easy to use and with useful information and reports and well presented photgraphs it is a pleasant planner with some useful features. It takes a while to load four packages but not excessive.

Packages can be quite large, (lots of detail) so if your internet speed is poor, patience will be required to download a package, including updates. Ours is 37Mbps so is OK. <1Mbps on a campsite will take a lifetime so maybe best to avoid downloading updates on site.

One further enhancement, perhaps a Dutch to English translator for some of the reviews?

A scam.

If you have bought the hard copy guidebook do not be suckered into buying this, it is a scam. This version offers nothing the book version gives you but costs a fortune and that only for time limited access, you have to pay again each year. It is surprising ACSI are allowed to get away with this. Very angry. Shall now try other apps.

This app is mainly used by campers who do not want to take the books with them, but want to find a campsite without an internet connection and want to use the information. Hopefully you understand that we can not give away this functionality and the carefully compiled information for free. The information will also be updated. Unlike the books, the user of the app gets an update with updated information about 6 times a year. So you actually pay for a 1-year subscription that automatically stops.

Not sure yet but not happy

Offline it seems to have no maps available, well not when you zoom in from ‘all of the country in one view’. For me the offline access is important, when travelling internet access is not guaranteed - the main reason to BUY the app - and the data.
Otherwise, a websearch will do anyway.
Campgrounds we use are missing - like NOTHING at Ibiza in this app.
When I click on ‘more info’ it reliably crashes. Only played with it for one day, took quite a while to download the data and map-tiles so I expected more.
So far I feel I wasted my money - a pity because I used ASCI on the web in the past and was quite happy.
