Double check you’re subscription actually gets cancelled

So, I wanted to try this app back in April and paid for the subscription for 3 months. After a few days I realized the app wasn’t for me and, as one does, I went to my subscription list on my account to cancel it. But for some reason, even after I cancelled they still kept charging me. They charged me 30 dollars every three months to a card I didn’t use anymore. When I sent them an email about it they only refunded me one charge. So, this is just a reminder to anyone who subscribes to this app to be email then about canceling your subscription because if not, they’ll continue to charge you (even after you’ve unsubscribed in your account).

Works but it’s very frustrating

The good: I lost about 30 pounds just following their training plan blindly. Thank you. The bad. A lot. Let’s start with that you have to click like three buttons to finish your workout. The app also lowers the volume of the iPhone to the minimum of you don’t start the music first or the app first, something like that. So if you are running and the app gives you an update your music goes to something like 2/10 until you shut down this app, which of course, breaks your training because you can’t just start again without some confusing warnings. Users should be able to start an exercise 20 times a day if they want. And then the worst. For some reason this stops your training after you complete a number of walks. Why? Makes no sense, and it won’t matter but to start a new exercise program you have delete all your previously training data, meaning that all those nice statistics they collect are useless because they always only show the last month or so. So, in general, it works but it’s very, very annoying. Looking for replacements.

SCAM! BEWARE!

THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS WHO WILL CREATE/CANCEL SUBSCRIPTIONS AND LIE ABOUT IT AS WELL AS SET UP RECURRING YEARLY CHARGES AND TELL YOU THEY HAVE CLOSED EVERYTHING OUT AND THERE ARE NO MORE CHARGES!! The app has no real content and is a complete waste of time. I DIDN'T EVEN ACTUALLY SIGN UP FOR ANYTHING AND I SOMEHOW GOT CHARGED!! I have been dealing with this for the second year in a row and I am more convinced now that this is not even a company but just straight scammers. THIS APP NEEDS TO BE REMOVED FROM STORES!! They contacted me to say I must’ve made a mistake and didn’t cancel the subscription correctly. First of all, I never had an account. Second of all, how hard is it to cancel if I could have possibly done it wrong? I contacted this company multiple times and told them to cancel anything with my name on it and to not EVER charge me again. Their response is to continue to tell me I must be doing something wrong while also telling me I have no account. They also have a recurring charge set up to bill me yearly moving forward despite saying I have no account and my account has been cancelled. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!

Could be perfect

App is good i did loose weight with it. Some things to consider is rest days i mean im sure our legs need to rest. Also calorie counter way off I feel treadmill says like 2x less then what app says. I also wish there was some way to customize time especially for ppl with OCD or ADHD that we have to complete the time requested like what is we don’t have an hour and have like 30 min. I know we can pause but to some ppl really feel disappointed we didn’t finish. Also didn’t like that it took out subscription without warning either I got hit with 40 bucks that honestly I don’t know I approved I thought it was a free app. And doesn’t give u options to pause membership or change or nothing we have to send email. I also feel it’s too expensive need more bang for buck if you know what I mean. The reason I’m continuing is cuz it does help me with my weight loss but try to make changes.

Loved it.

This is my first time using a walking app on my walks and I loved it. Enjoyed having the guide telling me to speed up, cool down & keeping me to a set time. Looking forward to continuing this & see the changes.

Not as advertised

Instagram showed a man doing an indoor, in place walking workout. That was my only reason for purchasing this app. For those days I can’t get out. I have yet to find where that secret workout is. Also, doesn’t connect to Apple Watch just health app and doesn’t do that well. My health app says I have 4700 steps but this app is only registering 980. Not quite sure what is going on but if it can’t have accurate information it’s useless and not worth my time. Don’t need exercising to be frustrating. Big waste of $50. Curious that I’m seeing so many bad reviews and yet it shows 4+ stars…

iPad does not sync with iPhone

I did my first walking workout on my treadmill using my iPad, but the only thing that showed up were the calories. It never showed the distance or the active time. You would think that if you have the app on both your iPad and your iPhone and you are using one account, that the information would show up and mirror the other. It also does not sync the steps. For instance, the app on my iPhone shows 228 steps - zero steps on the iPad after a 40 minute walk —- while on my Apple Watch it shows I’ve done 2029 steps. I don’t think this app is going to suit my purposes, so I am going to contact the company to see if I can get a refund as this was the first day I purchased and used it.

What’s the point of the quiz if it’s all the same

I went through and completed the quiz. There’s a question that asks how many days you want to walk and selected 3-4 times per week or something to that effect. And my so called personalized plan has me walking for 30 minutes everyday or longer. So there’s no point to the quiz. It’s not personalized. I wasted 50 bucks on this app and didn’t get anything unique/personalized out of it. Oh and it also doesn’t sync with your Fitbit or other trackers. You have to have the app running to track your walk, it only measures steps from your phone. So all the steps I take everyday outside of the “walking workout” don’t get logged in the app. The app itself is also clunky and hard to navigate.
