Wow!!
I got a whim last night that it would be useful to have a backup of certain txt chains and found this app. It was late at night and the moment I bought the app I hit what I thought was a wall because it wanted me to do a back up to iTunes before doing anything and I use iCloud for backup. I emailed the developer and went to bed only to wake up this morning to a text from him he had sent immediately last night. I texted back early this morning saying I would try this later and he texted back immediately again. Later when I had time to work on it he was still readily available and walked me through exactly what I needed to make the app work properly on a PC. The app is as useful as I had hoped to but the tech-support was truly impressive.

This app, and also the company deserves 100 gold stars, because they are both so SPECTACULAR!!!! This app is literally a lifesaver, and I couldn't have asked for better (or faster) customer service. If you need to print your text messages, this is the app to use. My PC is very old and tired, and had A LOT of issues on it.... Not a problem though, because this app's Customer service fixed the issues on my computer so that I could use their app!! I have almost given up on the good people and companies in this world, but this company and app has changed my mind and perspective. They are great, and I am going to tell everyone I know about how great they are. Trust me, you are going to be really happy and also in great hands with this app. I wish all apps were like this. Thank you sooooo much!!!!

Just what I needed even for large database of message. The support has been great and I am just so happy with all my messages in cvs format. Thanks for this!
Does exactly what it's supposed to
This app is amazing- and a life saver. I needed to export messages for legal reasons and it was very easy to use and quick! Once I backed up my iPhone to my windows PC, I downloaded the export iMessages app and opened it. Browsed to %AppData%/Apple Computer/MobileSync/BackUp where my iPhone backups are stored by default and I was even able to filter messages by contact and it exported them to my local downloads folder in 4 different formats. Easy to read and easy for printing. My only qualm was that it prints most recent on the top rather than from old to new-so you have to read backwards to follow along with any conversation and timeline. But you can use the .xls document and change the sort of you'd prefer-I just wanted it in PDF format. But seriously this app is the sh*! and I totally recommend it.

Great app
This is an indispensable tool app,it can to connect iPhone to my Mac,and easy to transfer documents with me.But to learn to use it, I spent a lot of time. This app is missing a demo file.
Good buy
Was worried due to last review so clicked on the support link. This gave easy instructions and all links to software. U need to install software onto the pc too. So as that pc software is free i tried that first before i made any financial commitment. It installed fine but obviously only extracts texts with the app installed onto the phone or ipad. As the pc app worked fine i went ahead and brought the phone app. It all works great and much simpler to view then the other text apps look. It saves the files to ur pc in different formats too so u can view them in excel, pdf etc. Im using windows and up to date ios device. It doesnt look like it works for non apple devices tho.

Great app
Upon downloading the app, I initially had trouble downloading or exporting my texts to my computer. I sent an email and within a couple hours had a response. The guy helped me out first via email, and then through texts and then (originally skeptical) via team viewer on my computer. He worked with me until I finally was able to export all my texts via excel. He then showed me how to filter the messages by phone number. Come to find out, he was in India and it was 4 am his time while he was helping me with all of this. He woke up in the middle of the night to help resolve my situation at 4 am. Great service, great app, does the job right and once you get it set up properly; it works flawlessly. Thank you for this app.

Unusable software
I should have read the other negative reviews before wasting money and time on this. There are no instructions on the web page where one downloads the software for the PC to use in parallel. The iPhone App appears to be for Mac users not PC users despite the web page stating it should run on Windows 7. I am using IOS 8.1 and Windows 7 Professional but after an hour have failed to get past the first screen. Not user friendly at all.

doesn’t work
This doesn’t work- we tried for ages to get it synced, connected, etc- watched out of date youtube videos on how to make it work but there was no connection between the phone and computer. A waste of money. Id like a refund.
