Absolute best app ever

I am an adult with ADHD, and this helps TREMENDOUSLY. It has changed my days. I would highly recommend just trying it out for you or your kid. It is customizable and easy to use. It does take a bit of time to customize the routines, but took me about 5-10 minutes to get it set up and then it is a HUGE time saver. It also adjusts time frames for if you are running late. You can have pictures for tasks, set times, earn stars, set up custom rewards, etc. They really thought of everything!

Love this app!

Brili has made a huge difference to our mornings! Trying to keep our daughter on task was a daily struggle that would always end with everyone stresses and running late. After using the app for 2 weeks it has made a huge improvement to our mornings! I highly recommend this app.

Grateful for this app!

This app is helpful for me personally, an adult with ADHD. The routines are easy enough to set, and the interface is pretty good. A couple of improvements would definitely bring me up to 5 stars. First, I have to sign in almost every time I open the app for some reason. Second, each time I switch a task, it stops playing whatever podcast or radio stream I was playing. Both of these things are very annoying and made me not use the app for a long time. I would additionally be very excited if there were an adult version! But that would just be icing on the cake. Very helpful app overall!

Hi there, thank you for your open feedback. We're glad that Brili is great help for you. Concerning the improvements you are mentioning: We have fixed the login issue recently and also added the feature of listening to music or podcasts in parallel. very useful

i’m using this for myself and it’s a really useful app however it keeps logging me out and i keep forgetting my username and password and starting the routine four minutes late which causes all my tasks to be shorter even when i’ve completed a 20 minute task in 10 minutes. i go into the app when i need to start the routine but then i have to waste time logging in so what’s the point? despite this, it’s really useful and well put together, just wish it wouldn’t make me waste my time logging in nearly every time i open the app

Bait and Switch

The commercial for this app is amazing! I was excited to try it with my kids (9 and 15). I set up elaborate custom routines replete with photos and everything. The kids were highly motivated by the rewards. It was all going to be great ... until I realized the app requires integrity, which my nine-year-old is still working on. She’s highly gifted and always looking for a shortcut. There is nothing built in to keep a kid from just swiping swiftly through tasks they haven’t even completed in real life! That’s the first lie from the commercial. The little boy in the ad is brushing his teeth, and Brili tells him he didn’t brush long enough. That is not a thing. You know why? The app also doesn’t talk! I haven’t heard this thing make a peep, and I don’t see a setting that makes it do so. Those three things are dealbreakers for us. I can’t be dishing out Roblox bucks and trips to the movies for a kid who isn’t completing the tasks. She says she did them, but ashy legs and funky breath tell a different story. $50 a year? Nope. Back to nagging I go.

Hi there, thank you for your feedback! We're sorry to hear that Brili didn't meet your expectations. Brili is meant to be a parenting support tool, offering additional guidance for children in time and task management. Some children might need more parental supervision than others, especially when starting to use the app. Setting minimum times for certain tasks like brushing teeth can provide additional help. Voice prompts can be enabled on the child’s profile for acoustic guidance. If you have more questions, please contact us at support@brili.com. — Your Brili Team

Excellent

Only used this for a week, but already seeing incredible changes. Unlike advertised, I use this on myself. I’m 33 years old and have ADHD. I use the app to guide my mornings and evening routines, and it has worked better then any other routine app I’ve tried. I do have three children, and I’m looking forward to setting up routines for them also.

I believe the developers have great scope in adapting this software for adults. However, it works just fine as is, so far anyway.

I’ll be subscribing after my free month trial.

Thank you Brili!!

After yet another frustrating morning of my son and I running late, I searched for tips on my favourite You Tube Channel - How to ADHD. Jessica recommended Brili and I set it up right away. OMG! We have had the best few mornings of my son’s entire school career since setting this up. I also set myself up on it too. Even though it’s geared at kids, I was able to customize it for myself as well. Thank you Brili!! 😊

Good, but too glitchy for the price

Got the app from a recommendation by Youtuber How To ADHD. I agree with her - we need an adult version as the way the app builds rewards and puts on just the right amount of pressure in my mornings. However, it logs me out most of the time when I reopen the app, and sometimes routines don't pause properly. There should be an option to use up remaining time on other tasks (not just fun) - ie get dressed in 5 minutes instead of 15 and you can use the remaining minutes on breakfast.

Good ideas but needs improvement

I have been using Brili for over a year now with my two kids. They love the stars they earn, although it would be good to have a 0 star option for some tasks. Them taking responsibility with swiping and following the routines is great. It works well when my kids are focused but when distracted the one reminder that they’re out of time is soon forgotten and they remain distracted. It needs a constant reminder until it is done. For a paid app that isn’t cheap there are a lot of bugs - won’t let you swipe, makes a noise repeatedly when swiped, there are lots of small things and they don’t always continue once the app is restarted but for the money I expect it to always work. This is why I won’t be continuing with the annual subscription for another year.
