I have just updated my phone to iOS 18.1 Is there anything I can do to fix it?

hide.me VPN supports ipv6 and I am experiencing zero connectivity issues unlike every previous VPN provider I’ve used which is the apparent top 5. Nord, express, cyber ghost, I just switched to hide.me VPN from a multi year Surfshark membership I still have 27 months left but it doesn’t work on ipv6.

2-year review/evaluation
I upgraded to Pro after 6 or 7 weeks testing the free version. Price wise, I have seen perhaps 2 other VPN services (with respective offers/sales) that came close to matching money for value. There are plenty enough locations to choose from, with adequate speeds - provided one has a decent high-speed internet service. There have been some hickups (buffering etc) when streaming anything above 1080p HD, which usually get solved by selecting a different country on the Streaming service of hide.me. A couple of the USA locations were appropriately removed, as they did not measure up to strict quality standards, maintained by the company. In addition, several new international locations have been added, including USA and Canada. I have only used free-limited locations or trial version VPN, no longer than 6 months. My reivew reflects my level of satisfaction with the service. It may have been a 4 star review, had I written it in 2021, but I noticed enough improvements, worth of that additional star.

Great vpn although one issue!
This is a great vpn if you’re on a budget although no matter what you’re on ( free or upgraded) on the free version I checked my IP address via other ip address locators and although I was connected to Holland 🇳🇱 the IP address location apps stated I was connected to the 🇺🇸 US 🤔 ? WHY? - therefore I’m wondering have I been online thinking I’m secure using hide me vpn when in fact my connection has been lost and left to the big brother eyes of my internet provider to invade my privacy and anyone else who wants to do the same thing or even something more sinister?
On iOS you get usual VPN symbol in the left corner of your screen so you’ll be thinking you connection is secure although to be then told you not connected by a IP address location app your elsewhere on the planet - what is happening ? 🤔 (TIP for users) routinely go to your settings on your device and see if this vpn is connected because I’ve seen it randomly say “VPN connected then a milli second later it shows VPN “connecting” - all other devices on my LAN that use proton vpn have no issues whatsoever so heed the warning ⚠️ you’re connection might not be as secure as you thing) come on Hide Me sort this out !

Amazing VPN
Honestly this VPN has some of the best features it has a good amount of locations and it has a 10GB usage. And tbh if you go over it just get off your phone or computer and it resets monthly.
AMAZING
Even though it’s free, it provides amazing protection, as well as switching your location. It is just simply perfect if you want to you can get the premium which offers even more great features and it is a pretty low price as well for now. I’ve just got the free version and the best part is it doesn’t even ask you to upgrade. It’s just a choice you can make simple to use really good at this job it’s just all around the best VPN I’ve ever used!
