Subscription options
App is great and worked well on my 2013 VW GTI. Looking for the monthly subscription option, but I only see two options, each for the one year option. Would be great to subscribe every once in while to make some more changes.
Nice work!
Could not recommend this app more! Even for diagnosing fault codes it’s great. But the added functionality to customise your car is amazing, definitely recommend picking one of these up and giving it a shot.
Great for my 2014’ SQ5
I’ve been able to make the rear brake service easily with the app. Plus some lightning and windows/roof customization ;-)
Hopefully I’ve been able to do them all during the trial period... I would not pay 52.99/years for customizing...

When it works
For some reason it doesn’t connect half the time. I have to delete app and reload it then restore purchases. Then hope it works.
When it does work it’s pretty cool. Customize
settings for your car like windows, door locks, lights and signal options.

Great app. Did just what I needed it to do!
I paid for the $9.99 week access to make a few tweaks and it was perfect. Cheap date as far as I’m concerned
History Function
Great little device, but lacks one fundamental function and that’s a history log. The device will only show you fault codes when connected to the device. It would be great to be able to look though the fault list when not connected. To diagnose faults, it’s always good practice to sit down with a cup of tea and a manual to see if there is a correlation with faults stored. For example, if two components show a fault for open circuit, it could suggest a common live feed or Earth is the problem, but you lose the ability to compare fault codes as soon as you disconnect. Can’t be that difficult to add a log!

2010 Mini Cooper S
Love the app and love the Carista OBD2 adapter as well. It cleared 12 codes I didn’t even know I had as well as unlock features of both my R56 itself and my key fob. The dealer charges an arm and a leg to unlock these features that are already there and to program a key fob not to mention the price to diagnose and clear codes. If I do have to bring it in to the shop I’ll feel much more confident knowing what the issue is even before I arrive. This thing will probably end up saving me so much time, money, and hassle.

Very capable and excellent vfm
Wanted a few “tweaks” to my new Golf 7.5 and had expensive quotes from several auto-electricians for what seemed to me to be just a few minutes work - all £65+. Tried this app and the Carista OBD dongle and for under £25 all-in (just bought the one week pass) achieved 5 out of 6 of the tweaks I wanted. The teardrop wipe isn’t available. And, it took me less the 30 minutes to do the whole lot. I signed up for the beta program which has a lot more customisation available, but only one of which I was interested in. Keep up the excellent work and I’ll be keeping my eye on an update for the teardrop wipe 😊

Readiness monitors gone in latest update?
This app has been pretty helpful in quick diagnosing of codes in my modified cars, I have a unit permanently in all 5 of my vehicles just so I can keep an eye on things in real time should the CEL ever come on. I have noticed since the last update the Readiness Monitor check that used to show up at the bottom of the Fault screen after doing a scan is now gone, which ended up costing me $21 for a Ny state inspection that I didn’t know the monitors weren’t ready for. Please fix!

Excellent to keep in the glovebox
I have the full version of VCDS, and whilst Carista doesn’t have the full functionality of it, it is a great tool to keep in the toolbox or glovebox for on-the-go diagnostics or simple tweaks.
It seems to be getting regular updates too which is promising for long-term support.
