Camera control doesn’t work
Updated firmware and reinstalled app, but the camera remote control simply doesn’t work. Images can be seen, confirming that that camera is connected to the iPhone.stewartlogie
The only good camera app
I have no idea why people are complaining about this app. It connects quickly, the wifi transmission for the live view is incredible, and it's simple. I shoot with all brands for work and only Panasonic has a good app for some odd reason. This one is just as good considering it's just for photos.mensaf
Frustrating
One would think that a big smart company like Richoh/Pentax would have a nice app to use with there cameras. Not the case with this app. It’s slow and unreliable. I’m starting to think that Sony, Canon and Nikon have something better.TL893
Terrible app
I love my Ricoh GRIII but I’m unable to connect the camera to the app using Bluetooth. I just futzed with for an hour and cannot get it to connect. I’m using the most recent version of the app and of the Ricoh firmware. This app is terribly designed. It’s been out for quite awhile so I would have thought the kinks would have been straightened out at this point. It’s currently non functional.Show lessDuderinininio
Does the job but frequently freezes
Image syncing does work with my GR III, but the app either freezes and becomes unresponsive during transfer, or the status of the transfer can’t be tracked. The latter is mostly an issue if you have automatic image transfers set up.SeeYouOutThere
Super disappointed - can no longer connect!
I was happy shooting with my GR 3, and using image sync to put photos on my phone, & edit them there. It was a light kit: no laptop, no cera
bag. Just my phone & Ricoh and I could walk around the city all day. Now, I can no longer synch my photos to my phone!!! What's the point of shooting digital if you can't do this. Might as well shoot film. 1 star for ruining my work flow.Show lessBarceSF

Frustrating
This app doesn’t work when transferring jpegs or dng/raw files.... the app just crashes as soon as it reaches 100% download and doesn’t save any of the pictures to your device. Tried multiple times with just one image and multiple times with several images.Johnnyfountain
