No loop..
Unlike what is advertised, the looping function is not there, shame...

You can enable the loop mode in „Settings“ - „List“ - „Loop“ as described in my videos on YouTube or Facebook or Homepage...
Simple app, does the job.
My goal was to load MIDI files and play them to a MIDI out device. Simple app, primitive UI, but does the job. My biggest beef is that it should have integration with iOS “Files”, and doesn’t. I’d downloaded a lot of MIDI files for use with GarageBand, and had to download them again into MidiOnStage’s data space to use them there.

midi out is nice addition.... could use a looping function on play transport for practising playing against compositions!

Useful tool
Yes it is a little unclear as how to load MIDI files but once you've mastered the "open in" it immediately gives you a clear view of the tracks and instrument involved I that file. Excellent app, and it's a freebie at the moment.
A little more flexibility on folders would be good, for example to create sub-folders rather than a linear list of playlists.
But one of the features claimed I can't see... How to loop within a MIDI file...?
This would be good especially if it could support MIDI MARKERS... add this feature and it will be a truly reMARKABLE app.
Can I suggest an added feature, the ability to select files by external MIDI command and if MARKERS can be supported or also LOOP around the file markers, INTRO, VERSE, BRIDGE, CHORUS etc. (But finish playing the section before jumping).

Paid and downloaded the app. When I tried to import my midi files to my iPad it appears that you cannot import midi files to an iPad......a waste of money unless someone can tell me where I am going wrong

the best midi player on the app store. this is my first review- thanks devs for this awesome app!
it can play midi files, supports playlists, can switch instruments, has some more tweaks like tempo adjustment and its free!

best midi player so far but still room for improvement
one of the best midi playback apps to date on the app store. however, some improvements could still be made here. this is based on my experiences with iphone 5s with ios9. here are some examples;
- instruments keep resetting back to defaults each time playback is restarted or resumed, despite the intended instruments being selected and remembered.
- need to add the ability to continue playing back midis when the iphone/ipad/ipod goes into lock mode
- when going into settings, there's no way to go back to other sections in the app, only option is to close the app and reopen.
- app tends to crash sometimes, need stability updates optimized for ios9

Wonderful MIDI player!
I have been looking around for a decent MIDI player on the App Store. I found one with a $15 in-app purchase, so I kept looking. Finally, I found this app and I love it!
The app allows me to import MIDIs and change the track instruments as well as the song's settings. Highly recommend!

Excellent MIDI player
I almost skipped over this app in my search for a basic midi file player because of its name and icon, but it was exactly what I was looking for! Thanks to the developer.
