I Would Pay £5.99 For This App
Brad, you truly have created something. The visuals and mechanics of the app shows your impressive skills as a developer. It’ll only be a matter of time before you will gain the recognition you deserve. The app within itself is fantastic. The thought behind even the concept of the app is great, but the actual app is even better. Great fonts, amazing interface and an overall 11/10 user experience.
If this review does not present explicitly my high recommendation of the app, then I’m not sure I can persuade you to get this (for FREE) any other way!

Thank you so much
What a beautiful, well designed app. If you want an app to improve your knowledge of philosophy (a way that is actually accessible!) then this is the one for you. Thank you for such a brilliant app!
Best free app!
I’ve never studied philosophy but as it is a hobby of mine I’ve always used whatever material I can get hold of to do my own research: online articles, magazines, books, podcasts... this app is wonderful as it has them all! It is very well structured as users can search by time period, field or by searching for a particular philosopher. On each philosophers page there are photos, quotes, articles and even ebooks and audiobooks. Best of all, it’s all completely free!

Comprehensive and Intelligent
I’m new to philosophy. New to deeper thinking of any brand, really. I am also highly distractable in terms of interest. When I recently became interested in philosophy/ethics, I immediately downloaded this app and started exploring it.
I’m surprised and pleased to say that I absolutely love it. It also led me to the realization that the reason behind my distractability is one of accessibility. Many of my interests from the past are quite expensive. I think the reason that I’ve stuck with studying this particular topic is simply because this app has so much on offer. E-books, audio books, footnotes. You can learn at your own pace, entirely for free.
I started with Kant. One of the more difficult to understand. And I absolutely love it. This app has caused me to start thinking about philosophy and ethics myself. It has ignited a passion for knowledge in me. All because of the accessibility and comprehensive nature of the app.
And so with that, I would like to extend a sincere message of thanks to the creator of this informative and useful piece of software. Not only for those of us with a mild interest but for those of us who are deciding to pursue life’s fundamental truths ourselves.

Amazing
This app is an amazing app that delivers information exactly how it should be: through a fun and beautiful method that makes me never want to stop learning. The information of quotes, ideas, and major works with such easy access mixed with minimalism art is so well done and creates an amazing UI. But, there could be some improvements.
App improvements:
• Summary for each philosopher before delving into them and their encyclopedia entries
• Expand timeline in later years to be able to not have to compress them so tightly and not have to scroll back and forth to see them all
• Ideas of philosophers is good when going to one philosopher and looking at theirs and the connections, but the tab for it with all ideas is almost pointless as you can’t tell what is connected
Also, I was wondering if you would be able to add some philosophers that are more recent
Sam Harris
Paul Bloom
Yuval Noah Harari
James Baldwin (maybe)
Thank you so much for an app like this that is so helpful in educating me on these historical figures!

Very Good
Awesome concept and excellent execution. Although I feel like more can be done. Very basic. I still love it though.
A wonderful app
Clearly a labour of love, exquisitely crafted, packed with thoughtful, clever features, presented in an engaging format that makes it a joy to spend time with some of humanity’s greatest thinkers. There are few apps that I can say I truly ‘love’. This is one of them.
This app is beautiful.
I’m not currently studying philosophy, and I have never actually studied it but it’s been a passion of mine for years now...and I’m 15. I’m going to study it in college and I can’t describe in words how passionate I am about philosophy, so this app to me is like...medicine to a sick man, thank you so so so so so much. I LOVE this app, amazing. If there is one thing I could change though, it’s that when I try to put some philosophers as favourites my app crashes? It’s a little strange, but overall the benefits outweigh the negatives by a LONG SHOT.

Nice App
This App is very good for anyone who’s interested in philosophy. I hope you can add more philosophers at a later date, such as: Quine, Moore, and Frege. It Would be nice to see some more sociologists too, like Durkheim, Williams, and Hall. Also, not all of the philosophers can be placed on the app icon, this addition would make it a superb app. I think Russell should be included in the popular category, his book on the history of western philosophy is still the definitive course textbook to this day, and is required reading at university, he was also the most prolific writer and polymathic philosopher of all. Perhaps a stone for the analytical philosophers should be included too, this would probably include: Russell, Wittgenstein, Popper, Moore, and maybe Grayling. Keep up the good work.

Crazily in depth
This app, although it has a few minor bugs, is one of the most in depth apps I have seen. It has everything you need to know about all the famous and current philosophers with detailed descriptions and free voice readings with text. It also has a quiz if your looking to test your knowledge which is good but I would like to know the name of the philosopher that was correct because currently it’s just the picture. All in all has helped me in college immensely and is a wonderful app.
