New FA200, this app is not working
I wanted this to work. Difficulty connecting to phone w/WiFi. Got it to connect once, then app crashed immediately on clicking Settings. I saw the older reviews, thought maybe they’d addressed things. Guess not.

Connection issue
Doesn’t connect to the wifi for phone connection i got Iphone 13, anyways to fix it? Reset password won’t work.

It wont connect to the dashcam. As soon as the app starts, it closes it self.

Won’t connect to dash cam over wifi even when dash am is already connected to wifi freekin useless complete waste of time

For those with troubles connecting, make sure you allow “Precise Location” in location access as well as “Local Network” access
Think ware dash cam F770
Total piece of rubbish I have ever bought, F770, don’t even think about it, can never get Wi-fi to connect at all. My as well burn the dam thing.
Dont even bother!
Ive had a F770 for a few years and I have Never been able to get this App to connect to the dashcam for more than 2 seconds, and then the App says there “are no files” to view, which has to be incorrect. It is absolutely useless.
The dashcam device itself never shuts up talking, as soon as you turn the ignition on or off it talks, and while I am driving along too, it talks. I have found it impossible to turn off the dashcam’s voice and it drives me nuts. If had the money to replace it, I would rip it out of the car and stamp on it.

You do not need this app to configure your cam nor to watch videos
You don’t need this app to configure your dash cam. Just plug the memory card into your computer, go to the settings folder, click on the settings file and configure there. Reinstall memory card and you’re done
In the case of an accident you often cannot use this app because it requires the dash cam to have power. Ie. Engine running. Just buy a micro SD reader for your particular smartphone, throw it into the glovebox and you’re good to go.
These hints will save you hours of frustration. The cams are awesome. This app, not so much.

Do t work with iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 14
This app does not work with iPhone 11 Pro Max on iOS 14. I have location set to allow it still does not work. Why is the F770 dash cam not supported on the new thinkware app. WAste of time and money I will have to return this junk DashCam I give no start horrible customer service
Sort it out...
No longer connects to camera. Was very glitchy at doing so anyway. WiFi unstable. Please update or I’ll have to go to another brand of camera. And recommend that to many others also.
