Very Limited Features
I bought the SACD player and found it also had streaming features; which was initially exciting. I was new to this and had been using a friends Denon setup with HEOS. HEOS is only ok but is still far superior to Music Life. I tried to use the App to read files from a plugged in drive (something that is very useful with HEOS) to save exploring with the small screen but failed. I contacted HK to be told that this is not available. The Drive must be connected to a network for the App to play the files.
The App is flakey as connections will suddenly be lost for no particular reason.
The App could be (and should be considering the quality kit that HK produce) brilliant but is currently disappointing that might not reflect too good.Show lessHodg1e

Well, it works. That’s about it. You’d think that a multi billion dollar corporation would invest a little more in their app development, and actually care about customer satisfaction. One can hope, but not holding my breath.WillisBsmiling

Works great with Arcam SACD 50 and tidal . Have interesting hides radio stations too
It puts the SACD player into standby but it’s not able to bring it out of standby for some reasonArash20d
Doesn’t Work
Streaming Qobuz to Arcam Solo Uno will only play 30 seconds of a song. I guess i’ll keep using Roon.Michael SK87

Hi Michael, This sounds like you are using a trial vertion of Qobuz as they restrict that type of account to 30 second per track. I have an Arcam AVR20 Receiver, and downloaded this app with NO expectations (since I was incredibly let down by the Arcam Control app) but, to my absolute delight, the app works exactly as described, and although it’s only been a few days, so far… so good! 👍MyHockeyStore.com
Arcam CDS50 - Beautiful HIFI… made unappealing by rubbish app.
The primary reason to spend over £600 on a CD streamer is not the CD player, which bluntly is brilliant, but streaming.
And streamin when you find what you want on Tidal via MusicLife is fantastic. It is the best audio experience I have ever had in my home. Brilliant!
But the whole purchase is ruined by this App.
I can’t stream direct from Tidal, and the Music Life App seems to implement its on interpretation of whatever API Tidal have given. It means that what you last played on the move (via Tidal) is not synced with Tidal (via music life)
Search functions are placed in an appealing place.
Now try searching for “Rag’n’Bone Man” but instead search for Rag and Bone, Rag n Bone, Boneman, or any logical search if you don’t know the spelling. Or ANY artist you are not sure of the spelling.
Brilliant. Millions of tracks and you can’t find popular music.
It really is a beautiful CD player and wonderful sounding streamer, but the streaming interface makes it a less than appealing purchase.

No longer works with Arcam unit

But…
I like this app but. If I select the Qnap as the source and browse to my tracks (flac) the albums are sometimes mixed up with the same artist. If on the other hand I say the source is plex(Symes actual source) then I get all the album artwork and the albums are correctly sorted… but when I play back classical music there is a glitch as the system changes tracks, there is no seamless version. I I use the hifi to navigate to the streams I don’t have any gaps or mustc.Show lessSeven_Spades

Needs Gapless Playback
Much improved recently, so I'm using is more on my Arcam CDS50. BUT, gapless playback is non-existant. I listen to a lot of classical music where long pieces are broken down into short tracks. It's disconcerting when a work like the Strauss Alpine symphony has a sudden two second gap just as you reach a big climax...Show lessPÈF
