  • Very good

    Wonderful the apps play very good and it was exactly what I need. I’m using this apps everyday.
  • Retrograde step

    I’m using this with an Arcam cds50. The source is Tidal. This app version now seems to be set up to play a single track at a time. Albums don’t follow on so a listener needs to be vigilant and select music a track at a time. Very tedious.

    Also, when tracks were able to follow on in the earlier version, gaps were inserted between tracks. Pink Floyd classics like Dark Side and Wish You Were Here are superb quality but the listening experience was seriously reduced by the insertion of gaps…

    I’m likely to revert to old style cds until these glitches are sorted.

    Sorry you have had this experience with having to select each track, which was an unexpected result of the recent iOS15 update, we believe we have resolved this with version 4.1.6 so would encourage you to please update and contact luxurysupport@harman.com if you are still experiencing the issue.
  • Finally completely useless

    The app used to be 2star poor, but now it has become unusable. I would like to take my HarmanKardon player and throw it against the wall, that’s how bad it is.
    I select an album, press play, the first song plays, the second song almost starts - and the the player freezes. As in “switch it off and on again” freezes. Nothing else works.
    And that happens after almost every track.

    Horrible. Horrible.

  • OK overall

    Great app overall for that music enthusiast or audiophile. Aggregates your favorite hi res streaming along with stored UpNp (local) content nicely and sounds very very good! Decent, simple, although not quite very intuitive user interface and relatively easy to operate. Works fine with streaming services (Qobuz and Tidal). But it’s often glitchy and there’s sluggishness from clicking ‘play’ to getting device to begin playback and occasionally have to click track or ‘play’ more than once. Often songs or playlists stop even though there are more tracks queued. You really need to have a dedicated network with only the Harman streaming device and your phone to avoid issues. Would be nice to include Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and other services sometime soon.

  • Superb app that works seamlessly with the SA 30

    I use this to stream my own music from my NAS. It works seamlessly. I love the new layout compared to how it used to be and the fact I can set favourites. This is particularly good for radio stations. Along with hapless playback I’m extremely happy.

  • Won’t stream to CDS50

    MusicLife no longer can find CDS50 after iOS update to 14.7.1. Was working fine before it’s a nice app. The next day it worked fine, I do not know why. Arcam/Hartman responded quickly.

  • More stable, less flexible

    This update seems more stable than past efforts, but it now seems to require one to play a CD right through from the start. Whereas with the old version, if a CD contained say 8 tracks and 2 symphonies one could go directly to track 5 and play the second work, with track 6 following track 5 and so on. Now at the end of track 5 the player reverts to track 1. This is irritating!

  • Great update

    I have used this app on my SA30 for a while and been very happy. This update is well worth it. Great new look and works better than ever.
  • Nicely updated app!

    Previously had issues with the last version of this, great to see the new layout and it now works seamlessly. Really glad that Arcam sorted this out. I’d recommend this app to old and new Arcam streaming users.
