  • Needs some work

Pretty basic app lacking a modern UI. The biggest miss for me is the inability to login to Tidal using facebook authentication. My Tidal account is linked to my fb logon and simply using my email address and password fails auth every time. As a result, the only way I can stream Tidal MQA quality is using Roon. This adds an additional $120/yr to take advantage of the MQA support offered by my SA30 that was one of the reasons I chose it over other devices.

  • Qobuz

I keep typing in my username and pass for Qobuz and it keeps saying error returned
  • I actually love this app... one small problem

When this app updated recently, it will only play one song at a time, and not an entire album through. Was not a problem before — developers please fix :) !!!

Sorry to hear you’re having issues. Please contact us either through the app or by emailing luxurysupport@harman.com and we can help you sort your issue.
  • Excellent Audio Quality Music Player

It is the best audio quality that I have come across, and I t is easy to use. Initially I used Bluetooth to a DAC, then later to an Arcam AirDac.

  • Works but needs improvement

The app connected with my CDS50 with ease and is functional. The app itself is lifeless and lacks options. My biggest gripe is playing an album with the tracks in the correct order of sequence. When I open an album the tracks are listed in alphabetical order, if there is an option to change this I can’t find it. I have over 1500 albums in my music server and are properly numbered with ID tags. I don’t have any issues with my other agents with tracks in the correct order. Anyways, I do like that the app works but it’s not doing me any favors.

The app lists tracks in the order returned by the server. If the server is not configured to sort items by track number they will not be sorted. Have a look at the settings of your favourite Media Server, or contact support and we can give you a few suggestions.
  • Another app that wants to collect and sell your data.

    Nope.

Edit August 8th: hello developer, the ToS and privacy policy that I MUST agree to in order to use your app claim otherwise. If you don’t collect data then why have such things in place claiming you do?

    Developer Response

Thanks for the review. We do not collect any data from our users, and certainly do not sell any data which would be a breach of data protection rules.
  • Poor user interface thats not intuative

Unlike the quality of Arcam audio equipment’s sound, this lacks any Wow factor and appears to be an after thought and/or made by the “B Team” that also wrote the instruction manual that lacks details as to how to use the remote to change system settings etc.

The user interface, is is not intuitive and could do with some work ....

  • Only works if device screen is not locked or asleep

This would be a great app if it worked when your devices screen is a sleep and locked. I can start a playlist and as soon as my screen goes to sleep and locks the music stops. The receiver states it is playing but it really isn't. Attempted on avr400 and iPhone 6s Plus.

    Developer Response

Sorry to hear you're having issues. Please contact support@arcam.co.uk (or Settings > Email Arcam Support from within the app), and we can try and resolve this with you.
  • Could do better

The fact you can't switch the Amp on cause it looses connection makes it kind of useless.
  • GREAT functionality; missing a few critical items

This app neatly allows full receiver control, creation of playlists, queue management (w/o interrupting what is currently playing), unique sub control, and quite a few other great things. A few critical items are missing though:

--ability to play podcasts from an iPhone (where 60% of my music is Podcast)
--ability to turn the receiver on (after sync is lost)
--ability to play music files that are Beatport downloads
--ability to use Apple's streaming music service wirelessly
