Great data, poor UI

I love the idea of this app and use it a lot on both the web and mobile. But over the years the UI and ability to load the data has grown worse and worse. At this point the app on my device crashes about 50% of the time.

Inaccurate info for the Blue Mountains (Australia)

This rating is for the trails in the Blue Mountain area of Australia.
Some of the trails are closed (including the National Pass route which has been closed for several years due to a fatal rockfall). Many others have start points which require an hour or more hiking to get to the start point (eg the Mount Solitary one and the ones around the Coxs River).

There appears to be only one trail (the Prince Henry clifftop track) that is actually open and accessible.

Almost perfect….

Love the app!! Fantastic resource with very good detailed maps and routes. The only thing I wish that I could do with app would be to have the ability to download routes to my Garmin Fenix7 watch so I can follow some of the trickier routes without being my phone.

Great resource and tool

I live in a Rural area, but in a Valley near PLENTY of mountains. I’ve had difficulty finding established trails/routes for trail running in the area using many of the “go-to” popular routing apps, or even the community resources. I was started to think there just weren’t actual trails nearby, until I came across this website (and then app) that had 20-30 trails/routes within a 40 minute drive of me. Turns out, these were the trails everyone was using, but for some reason they also had the least information about them available online, except for this app. Looking in other areas, this app has so many trails that are missing from others for those areas as well. Definitely my new “go-to” app for trails and routes.

Awesome

This app is fantastic. I have been using it for years. I wish there was an easy way to add trails

My go-to adventure map

I have saved myself and a few other lost hikers with this map. Even without a decent signal it can, most of the time, show the basic blue locator dot and trail lines. Super easy to plan stops, distances, connector trails using the satellite image. People cannot believe it’s free. I worked at Rei and no one knew about it. Elevation profile on the main page, being able to highlight each section is just beautiful. I cant say enough about it.

Looking for trails, not roads.

I live outside of the Fort Bragg, NC area; nearby St Pauls, NC.

The first day I used this app, I drove 45 minutes to discover the “trail” on this app was nothing more than a long stretch of highway. Also, the app doesn’t have the few existing trails I know of. I’d bet this app is fine for areas where trail running is already popular, but for folks that don’t live in the mountains, there still isn’t an app worth downloading. Hope that changes in the future.

A great app for planning fun routes

I use this app all the time to plan routes for outings. I like to use it on the go too, if I download areas before hand I usually can use the gpx tracks even in the wilderness. The elevation profiles are very helpful, especially the green/yellow/red zones which show you which sections are runnable.

Best Hiking/Trail App by Far!!

I use this app daily and tell everyone I meet on the trail about it. The data it provides - at zero cost - is truly remarkable and much appreciated. Fantastic app for hiking, trail running, and planning future hikes. I absolutely love it. Thank you for such a quality product!!!

Awesome app

So your experience may vary depending on what region you are in, but here in Colorado this app has been invaluable for finding new trails to go run. Love it.
