Bizarre
This app is bizarre. To go to anything other than borrowing books it takes you to the website where you have to log in again. There’s no point in using the app, just go straight to the website.
Not reliable since day 1
As many have already pointed out, the app not reliable and randomly log me out as well as my linked accounts. Most of the time I only found out I was logged out when pick or borrow books in the libraries. I then have to talk to the librarians . This has completely defect the purpose of having the app. However give it 2 star as when it works it really nice to have

A brilliant redirect to solid curated information
Auckland Libraries is a great Ap. It meets the objective of being purely functional and delivering great performance without unnecessary bells, whistles and imagery. It directs to solid curated news for all as opposed to instant gratification of social media. Access to Pressreader, ebooks, on line videos and documentary for free, order books on line, with link to Libby is brilliant. It is really good to see something clearly well written. It does require following some easy instructions and an AUCKLAND LIBRARY CARD. I recommend picking one up from your local library if you do not have on. Ignore all these 1* troll ratings. A great tonic.

Better look but not as reliable
I love the recent new update of the app, it refreshed the UI nicely, and made it better when using multiple linked accounts (convenient when you have kids). However it has now a tendency of logging me out frequently, and I then need to enter again my own card detail, as well as each of the linked account. It would be great to fix this!

Love it
App works perfectly, never had any problems since I started using it in 2018.. great new features lately, easy to find what I need and reserve books or get notified.
Not working
Since I downloaded the update I have not been able to search for books. It freezes every time
Much needed upgrade
The latest upgrade (Jul 2021) is long awaited. The app is a lot faster, more functional and allows users to link multiple accounts. Thanks for the good work, and not a moment too soon
Can’t login
The app wouldn’t even let me log into my account. The nav buttons are unresponsive have the time.
Who ever made this app should be fired
Seriously the worst app I have ever used in my life. Extremely slow, not user friendly at all. And now it doesn’t even show the name of the books that I have on hold or have checked out. It is so useless.
Very outdated and slow
Not sure if this is the official app but it’s super slow and has terrible interface design that makes you guess what you should press.
Hope the Auckland Libraries team is working on an update.
