Frustrating Typing
I gave this one star for two reasons. The first is because the text box that you type in is frustrating. Once it fills the page, the current line you’re typing on dips below the keyboard so you can’t even see what you’re writing until you’re on the next line.
I tried adjusting my screen so I could see the whole thing, but as soon as I started typing again, it would shift right back to its original spot. Never knew how frustrating it is to not be able to read what you’re typing. It was bad enough that while recording my first dream, I quickly copied it to my notes app and continued there.
Second: The free version doesn’t have much but the journal feature and a few articles that just scratch the surface on how to lucid dream. R/luciddreaming has tons of posts with directions and experiences of other people and the information is also free to google online so I’m not sure why they’re protecting it like it’s a big secret. Other than a different UI, the free version doesn’t give me much more than what my notes app does so I’m sticking to that. If the text box is like that on the paid version, I’d be mad I paid for it.Show lesseffnawesome

The paid plan gives access to guides and resources but most importantly tools to help you have lucid dreams.Excellent, but expensive.
This is an excellent app, it is very well made. It is very unfortunate that so much of the app is locked behind a $13 a month paywall.Zg13t
Great dream app!
I’ve been using Oniri for years now. It’s a great and really helpful dream journaling app. It’s also helped me start lucid dreaming too which is amazing! I especially like the new A.I dream analysis option as it’s really quite smart and goes into a lot of depth!
The only reason my review is 4 stars and not 5 is because the A.I deeper analysis section, where you answer some specific questions about your dream for a deeper analysis, is quite buggy. I’ve only had 2 occasions where the bot has actually read my answers and included them in the deeper analysis. The rest of the time, the AI doesn’t actually read my answers and just gives me the same analysis again even though I’ve given some really in depth and personal answers. If this could be fixed, the app would definitely get 5 stars as everything else is perfect! ✨🤞🏻Show lessBeccabombshell:D
Extremely Laggy
I had at least 20 dreams saved and one day i came back and only two of my dreams were there. They were all saved to my account so im so upset not sure if its something to do with the app or my iCloud but its so sad.
Also i got the premium subscription to analyse dreams and it wont let me do it? It says error try again later? But every time “ later” does come its never late enough.
Aside from the app lagging and shutting down all the time its a really great app to save dreams and add characters. You can see how many dreams you have had with different people and also add pictures to show what your dream looked like . I do recommend but maybe keep your dreams safe in your notes too just incase you witness what happened to me :( .Show lessAlistar💛

If you have ever wondered what’s hidden in the meaning of your dreams at night as you lay asleep, this may very well be the app you have been seeking. If you have started keeping track of what goes through your mind as you drift off to dreamland, this may very well be the app you are seeking. I had previously used a different method for keeping track of my nightly dreams, and while it did its job by allowing me to do just that, this app goes above and beyond by explaining the possible meanings behind what those dreams could possibly mean. From what I could understand, the app works primarily with the help of artificial intelligence. When you write down the details of your nightly escapades, the app reads the details of your journal, and breaks it down into what you might get if you had your own personal psychologist. I don’t know how accurate it is for everyone, and every type of dream you have, but for me, anyway, I really like what the results come out to be. Well worth the yearly asking price if you ask me. If you have, or had looked through a number of different paper based journals on this topic, you have probably found what you are looking for without thumbing through different sections to try to piece together a possible solution. Getting Worse, Not Better
I love this dream journal but it has become progressively worse over time— why do they keep making updates that make the app worse? It used to be simple to enter your dreams and look up key words to dream symbols. Then they rebranded and added multiple screens with cheesy lines (“that’s one dream you won’t forget!”).
Now with the AI update, you can no longer include the interpretation of your symbols with notations on what each symbol means to you. The AI interpretations don’t facilitate my personal dream interpretations and you have taken away the areas where I write my own dream analysis!
Please PLEASE stop messing with your app! It was awesome three years ago, but it is only getting less enjoyable to use. I hope someone invents a better dream app, so I am no longer so dependent on this one, because it is truly an important tool for self-reflection.Show lessstellarondo

This app truly is revolutionary, I love the associations so I can see who/what I’ve dreamed about and how much. It also asks some very relevant questions I never thought to ask myself when using pen and paper to write my dreams out. Wonderful and easy to use! I’d pay if it wasn’t a subscription !
The ONLY negative I have is that you can ‘share’ your dreams to Instagram/etc … That button alone scares me. The fact that it is associated to every dream and with the click of one button it could post your dream on your Instagram story is almost worth getting rid of the app. I feel it should be more hidden maybe under a share tab rather than it’s own stand alone button. I get that it is for marketing for the app, but I also think this isn’t the industry to try to market to Instagram stories as it’s extremely personal information.Show lessjudasistheone
Simply the best digital dream journal!
Hands-down this is the best tool for recording dreams analyzing them as well as working with out of body experiences meditation you can use this for a multitude of purposes you can add images that trigger your dream memory. I don’t write reviews but this one really deserves a good one get premium it’s well worth it. I’ve been using this app for about four years I also backup dreams I have in short form in a notebook but you can print out Your journal as you go so you have a hard copy. I love this app. It allows you to give as much detail as possible and allows you to keep the memories close in just a tap of a screen. I don’t have dreams often but when i do, they are vivid and i wish to keep them for as long as possible. With this app, it is possible. I would rate this app an 8 or 9 out of 10 and i would recommend it to those who wish to remember their dreams in the most detailed way possible! However, the only issue i’ve come to find is that it kicks me out of my account if i haven’t used the app in a few weeks. Instead of keeping my account open, it closes and signs me out. Luckily, i don’t have to do much to get it back but i wish i didn’t have to keep resigning in. I don’t know if this is fixable on your end but it would be highly appreciated if it could be addressed and possibly dealt with.Show lessmeifwa kat

I LOVE this app. I usually delete journal apps within 2 days because I don’t feel motivated to keep up with them. However, Oniri is the best dream journal app in so many ways. First of all, when you write your dream there’s so many other sections this app provides (without being subscribed!): How you would rate your dream, whether it was a dream or nightmare, how vivid it was, if it was lucid, how long the dream was, emotions you felt, context, characters in it, objects in it, and you can even insert images. It really makes you analyze and take in your dream. It also makes it very easy to search through for specific dreams, for example if you wanna see dreams that had a certain person in it, you could just type their name.Show lessstarryniqhts
