  • Love this app…

I have enjoyed this app for a very long time & have enjoyed watching it grow. This app is so helpful to me & I love using all the features to it. I have always needed a good dream journal & dream analysis & this is so perfect as it’s the most perfect dream journal & analysis & better than many others in the App Store. I love how it helps me understand about lucid dreaming. It has been so helpful to me about this considering that many of my nightmares lead to sleep paralysis, but after learning about the lucid dreaming features, it has helped me to acknowledge about taking control in my dreams & I’m able to wake myself up before the nightmare gets worse & I’m able to pull myself out of the sleep paralysis better than before. Thank you for this amazing app. 🥰

  • gets stuck on keyboard when writing

app seems perfect for writing down dreams but everytime I try to write one I get stuck in my keyboard and there’s no way to exit out of it when i’m finished writing.

Thanks for reporting that! There should be a white checkmark button above the keyboard on the right to close it. It it's not appearing for you, could you please write us at support@oniri.io and let us know which device you're using?
  • New update is awful

Especially on iPad, when writing my dream I could alter the text size and actually SEE what I was writing and it would take up the screen which was wonderful, now it’s squeezed in the middle.
The look of the dreams and the new vertically font looks terrible too. I despise the new rating system, the last one was perfect sometimes I would have a dream that wasn’t consider a nightmare and could slide it as unpleasant, or I had a nightmare that was very very bad, but for some reason it makes the option for nightmare a “very good” rating too? That doesn’t even make sense. now it’s become all the other dream journal apps I once deleted, please go back to the old UI, this is very hard to use.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. Could you please send us screenshots of the different sections of the app you are referring to at contact@oniri.io, so that we can get a better idea of what you'd like to see improved? Thanks a lot for helping us improve.
  • Good app

I love this app a lot, but the other day I downloaded the new update n before it came it wouldn’t let me connect my email to keep my account wen I tried cuz it never sent me the email links n I let it go for a bit to try again sometime. After I downloaded the app update the other day it kept crashing n finally worked, but it wouldn’t load in kept loading. I decided to try delete it bc I forgot it would delete everything. I now have nothing since I redownloaded it. Very upset about losing all my dream logs, but otherwise it is a great app. Just recommending that to be fixed so I can keep this progress. Thanks😃

  • Awesome app

App is cool as hell and it’s hella reliable. The only problem is that I’m on iOS 16 on an iPhone XS, yet I don’t think the dream AI image generation thing works for me at all. I’ve tried using it on many different dreams but it just gets stuck near the end.

Thanks for your feedback! We had a small issue with image generation, it should be working now. If not, please contact us at support@oniri.io.
  • Great, although lucid dreaming guides could use some work.

Let me start off by saying that the dream journal feature is great. There’s lots of customization, and I think it’s fantastically implemented. However, the lucid dreaming guides do contain some common misinfo. FILD is an anchor for WILD (and not a very good one at that), and anchors are advertised as their own technique, when in reality, they are simply something used to fall asleep consciously during the use of WILD. Although I have not tried the subscription yet, I would assume the MILD guide is the same. MILD is frequently thought of as repeating a mantra as you go to sleep, but this is only an optional step of the real technique which helps set intention to have a lucid dream. I’m sorry if the MILD guide is actually correct, because I haven’t read it, but I would recommend changing it if it narrows the technique down to something as simple as a mantra.

  • It’s good but

Its good but the subscription is WAY too expensive. I would happily buy it if it was $1 instead of $4 a month, and I bet more than 4x of the people already paying for it would too. It’s just not worth it for what you get. And also making it so we can no longer see which dreams have which symbols without paying is irritating. I also think it should have a section for Astral Projections. Anyways ya it’s good, but leaves a salty taste in my mouth since I’ve had it since it was basically all free but now a lot of features are locked behind a pay wall (that is overpriced).

  • Lost all my dreams…

The app suddenly deleted all my dreams! It sucks because I had so many logged in there. Opened the app and it literally said no entries.

    Developer Response

Dear user, your data is not lost, you just have to login again. If you need help, please contact us at contact@oniri.io. EDIT: Have you been able to contact us and find your data back? We'd love if you could update your review if this is the case. 🙂
  • Great but room for improvement

Update: Still like the app, but wish it was more customizable. And had some type of factor tracker? I also have no way of recording that i forgot a dream, yet it somehow is following that statistic? So my forgotten dreams show “0,” yet i have forgotten so many! Just….nowhere to out that information. What gives?

I love this app. It has really helped me to engage my dreams. My current biggest critique is the emotions part. There are not enough emotions to choose from and rarely are there ones that capture my feelings in their entirety. For instance, excitement is missing from the list. A very common emotion and it is not represented. I'm still exploring and getting to know the app and am sure he developers will add features as time moves on but adding more emotions would be a great start.

  • Could be great with one major difference

Dreams are highly personal things. Dropping in social media button is a complete no-go for me. There’s even a tickbox in every entry to allow the app to share your dreams on social media platforms - this makes me think the authors are somehow in it for money or likes. Who wants their dreams published? It’s like having a journaling app and adding those same options. Some things just aren’t for sale / sharing with the world, and somehow I’d think sleep app authors would be of the same opinion.
Terrifying experience trying to avoid all the social media stuff. Would never ever recommend to anyone. Otherwise, a visually stunning app. Huge shame.

    Developer Response

Thank you for the feedback! We will soon improve the UI so that those social options are in their dedicated space and you don't feel like you have to avoid them. We all have our own ways to work with our dreams and a part of our users do like to share them, that's why we put those options. But we understand that they are currently too visible and that it can be annoying for the users who are not interested in them.
