Totally graphically and musically updated and the original was out years before the inferior broken sword games that tried to copy the style.

Good game, but
I've only played day one (the free bit) and I have to say it's a good game. Not great, the controls are a bit glitchy and take time to work out and it's a very short play time. By that I mean in game time passes very fast. Graphics are ok and the story is pitched well, it's not too simple nor too hard for what I've played.
Now for the bad bit. The remaining 3 episodes cost £2.99 EACH. And there isn't an option to buy all of them at once with a discount. And frankly I don't think this game is worth £9.97. If they change it so you CAN get the episode all at once for a discount, then I'll play the rest. Until then I can't, with all honesty, recommend this game.

Fantastic game!
Greatly enjoying it thus far. Plays quite similarly to the classic adventure game. Seems to work extremely well with touch controls.

Why no achievements????
The Steam version has achievements.
Is it laziness not to include them in the iOS version?
It feels like part of the game is missing and that's unfair.
