Great resource for the LR shooter!
I've been putting the app and WeatherFlow weather station to good use for several months. The app has many useful functions and your phone serves as an excellent interface!

I'm new to long distance shooting having just finished a new rifle. I zeroed the new scope at 200 then plugged in my rifle data, pulled in the weather stats and took a shot at an 18 inch steel plate at 637 yards. I rang it 3 out 5 standing and shooting off a baricade. This app and the Weathermeter are a great package and make long distance a lot simpler. The guy that said this app is for Texas only is incorrect. The app uses your phone's GPS to load the map of your current location. The only tricky part is knowing to preload a map area if you know in advance if there's no wireless coverage in the area you hunt or the range you shoot. I highly recommend this ballistics application and the optional WEATHERmeter. Next weekend I'm going to try 1,000
