For amateurs only!!
This app can only scan simple melodies. It does not really works for sophisticated melodies. I even try some Mozart violin music that had no chords and it was really bad. Wrong key signature, wrong time signature.
I’m giving it 2 stars to encourage the developer to actually develop it. It will be great if it worked but it really doesn’t!!

Love it, but...
This app is SO helpful but the only reason that I put the four star is it would be SUPER amazing if there were more options like a different instrument (such as a violin) and allow the user to correct mistakes made my the app such as clef changes and if the app doesn't read the music correctly. Thanks though! 🙂

Will be great when it interprets photos more accurately
This will be a tool that can help enormously with the playing of difficult passages. At the moment the interpretation isn't great, but I'm sure that will improve in later version. I opted to help with the app improvement through the games, but don't seem to be able to see any on my iPad?

Took abt 20 photos and it says an error occured. Too good to be true . Dont waste your time.

This app is amazing! I like using this at night on my tablet. Can see the music clearly. Love that it has playback. Great for practicing.
Essential beginners aid
I use this to get an idea of how each new piece should sound. It's not entirely accurate but still very good. The main failing I find is that each score you enter is given a title that is the date and time it was photoed. This can't be edited so makes it very difficult to find the piece as your library grows. It is a pity that the app does not appear to be receiving updates. It has great potential.

Promising app, but too inaccurate to be useful
The app did get most of the notes right, but NONE of the clef changes! This makes it not at all useful if you play an instrument that reads in multiple clefs...at least give me a way to fix mistakes, I didn't see any way to do this.
