What's new in INFOCOM 2018: This release, in time for INFOCOM 2018, includes many new features. Highlights include: * Community discussions with support for per-session discussion threads and the ability to create new threads * Sign in using iCloud, Google, or Facebook; after you sign in, you may rate a talk during an active session, or participate in community discussions * Rate any of the talks using a five-star rating system in an active session when it is ongoing * Session chairs may mark talks as “no shows” * Search for session titles along with talk titles * Full-text search in each camera-ready paper you download, with search results highlighted (iOS 11 only) * Real-time (and silent) program updates when the conference program is updated over time * Push notifications for conference news * Bluetooth Low Energy beacons will be used to obtain your approximate location while you are using the app. With your location information, you may see your current location highlighted on the venue map, rate talks when you are physically present in the room of the session, and see how well attended a session is, as a percentage, when it is ongoing. * Dynamic Type is now supported; to change the text size, go to Settings – Display & Brightness – Text Size.

In preparation for INFOCOM 2017, we have introduced the following improvements: - The user interface has been completely reorganized, with a more streamlined search as a dedicated tab, and a better way of interacting with the conference schedule. - The entire conference schedule is available completely offline, without the need of downloading from the cloud. - A new "Recommended For You" feature has been added to recommend similar talks based on your favorite talks in the main conference program, using a full-text similarity evaluation with Latent Semantic Indexing. Like the entire conference schedule, "Recommended For You" does not require an Internet connection, and can be used completely offline. - A passcode is now required in order to download camera-ready papers, and it will be available at the registration desk onsite during the conference.

IEEE INFOCOM is one of the flagship academic conferences in the area of computer communications and networking, sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society. Whether or not you may be attending the conference in person, the INFOCOM app has been redesigned from the ground up in 2024 to serve your needs by providing you the information whenever you need it. It is designed to be easy to use, convenient, and fast, and with your privacy taken very seriously. Attending a conference as large as INFOCOM, with over 500 talks, posters and demos, organized in over 160 technical sessions in the main program and workshops, is often a daunting experience. You may find yourself wondering where to go! To help you find your favourite sessions, the INFOCOM app allows you to: * Access the entire program schedule of the conference, with real-time updates in case the program schedule is updated during the conference * Search through the entire technical program, by searching for session titles, talk titles, author names, and abstracts with instantaneous results * As-you-type search with search results updating in real-time * Add a talk to your favorites * Schedule reminder notifications for up to 64 talks in the conference * Review more details about any session or talk, including showing the session that a talk belongs to * Supports both light mode and dark mode You can download and export any of the papers in the entire INFOCOM proceedings — including the full program, the program-at-a-glance, and all the workshops — right within the app. Since conference venues often have poor Internet connections, the app works completely offline without connecting to the network, when you are viewing or searching through the entire schedule. Whenever there are new updates to sessions and talks, the app will be silently updated in real-time. You may also pull down to update the conference program at any time. We respect your privacy: your favorites and reminders will never leave your iOS device and will not be synchronized to the cloud. You do not need to sign in to use any of the features in the app. It is designed to be simple, private, and fast to use.
