Bugs are ruining it for me
UPDATE: Downloaded on my iPhone 14 and now the the same issue , blue loading screen appears and won’t go / despite saying signed in - don’t suppose I can finally get a refund?
Was a great game to start but since I got to approx level 40, whenever I open the game it comes up with the loading circle for about 5 minutes before you can do anything and I can’t open any crates …. When you try it takes a long time then ‘failed to connect to server’ I’ve tried uninstalling/ re installing etc have a good internet connection there’s just no fix ? Please help ?

Problem
I have been playing this game for a few weeks and have, apparently, cleared the first three sections of the main map but the next section remains locked. I have followed suggestions such as rebooting my iPad, uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing changes so, having paid for this, I am disappointed. Any suggestions from Team17 that solve this will result in a better review.

Stuck on loading
Was a great game to play. Ever since last update on my iPhone 15 it stays stuck on the blue loading screen. Sometimes works if I turn off wifi and cellular data.
Don’t buy this game
Soni bought this game the other had a few games then tried to go on “ VS “ (which is online against other people) but it keeps saying unable to find an opponent….? Also it won’t link with my fb….? It pretty much says “ can’t connect and we are aware of this issue) it’s been saying it for the past few days

Thanks for ruining an amazing series with greed
Worms is my all-time favorite game series. I was super excited when I bought this but take everything you love about the worm series now forget it cause this has none of this.. now take what you hate about all the freemium play to win stuff. It has all of that not only do you have to pay for this game. You don’t even get any other good weapons you have to buy them afterwards.. and to top it off it says if you read it you get free worm bucks the in game currency when you rate it you don’t even get it says when you log into Facebook you get free worms bucks you don’t get those either lies and greed

Team 17 you need to do your job
I’m having the same problems as I’ve just read in a previous review. Game doesn’t load. I paid for extras and I got charged for a golden donkey that doesn’t work. As well as the game itself. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling and rebooting my phone. But it’s not working. The previous review was posted a year ago. So obviously no one has done a thing about these issues. Shame on you team 17. Worms had been a lifelong game I’ve played and now it’s ruined. Spend some money and fix the game.

Online multiplayer doesn’t work.
Even worms 3 has working multiplayer… that DOESNT require Facebook. Go figure. I really wanted to like this game but not if I can’t play with friends
Good ideas, bad implementation
Overall, not a bad game, but there are some bad implementation details that really hamper it. The constant connection problems are annoying, leaving you looking at an orange overlay with a spinner for minutes on end. Getting reward chests that won’t open no matter how much you tap on them is frustrating. Being deducted 12,000 game dollars for a chest that was supposed to cost 2,000 game dollars was irritating too. The control panel in the bottom left isn’t great, either - the original game’s interface was far better in this regard. It’s fun because it’s Worms, the new missions are interesting, but the lack of any explanation for any weapons is terrible. You have to use them, several times, before you can work out what they do. Lazy, could do so much better, but they don’t seem interested in anything but taking your money.

Feels like you are playing on iPod, low hd graphics. Does not cover full screen dimensions on iPhone 12 pro max

Server down?
The app needs server access to work properly and that access seems extremely limited. No it is not my connection. When you launch the app and click to start you’ll see lots of spinning white circle on a blue background. Eventually (after a really long time) it will give up trying to connect and you can play as normal, but rewards for completing battles will be unavailable. Please get your server working again.
